5 Star for the Nano Beam - 2.5 Star for the ease of installation
Once I waded through the setup process I was able to setup an access point and a station. There is a learning curve and it’s steep. There is an app available that is vital in setup. It is called UISP. It communicates with the nano beam unit for 15 minutes after power on, assisting in setup. These devices are geared towards IT professionals and comes with no instructions. Detailed written instructions are NOT available, that I could find. There are several YouTube instructions available, but some are ambiguous. There are several mobile apps available but only one or two are necessary. There is an app available that is vital in setup. It is called UISP.I am impressed with the distance and bandwidth that I have achieved. I was disappointed and frustrated with the difficulty with achieving it.

Great for outdoor ethernet if wired isn't an option
Works great in all outdoor conditions where running wired ethernet is not possible or practical. Need some experience configuring IP devices or setup could be tricky.

DON'T BUY THESE FROM AMAZON STORES, NO WARRANTY!
Absolute garbage. Within a month one of the PoE injectors died. Thankfully we still had one because the AP was being powered by a PoE switch. At the four month mark the station side started acting up. At first I thought it was due to the other PoE dying, so I bought another MikroTik PoE switch and powered up the station through that. That did no good as it was going down and not rebooting a couple times a day. The four, ten and now it won't stay on more than a few minutes at a time. When I contacted Ubiquiti about this matter, I was informed that the warranty was expired, meaning that I got a third party purchase. Sadly this happened after purchasing a second set of these for another location.I have a little over 30 years experience installing enterprise level networks. I've installed these for the last two years with fifty two enterprise installs and my own three home installs. Out of all fifty five installs, this was the only one I've had issues with and there's no warranty. I will now be making my purchases from UI directly so I know I have a warranty.

Great for installing P2P between a couple close buildings
My business uses this in a marine setting at the bay to get a signal from a floating museum to a parking controller on the pier. About 900ft. Even with tidal movements the signal stays locked on and gives close to 1gb speeds with very low latency. Setup was easy, instructions from Ubiquiti site guided me on proper setup and alignment. Even with signal noise from the downtown district, signal is exactly what we need.

Works great, but is not licensed for USA
I wondered why it came with separate power cords, opened the box and it had European plugs on the cords. When I went to set it up, I had to choose Canada, USA was not an option. One points toward my brick building, and the other towards a river, so I hope the signal doesn't interfere with anyone.

The way to go with wireless links
These are a little tricky to set up but once you get it they are a snap. I suppose if you did this all the time it would be more intuitive. We use a few of these to move video data around and they work well. The additional port on the unit is nice. I like how easy they are to aim with the phone app being quite helpful. There are YouTubes showing how to set these up. Just follow along, set them up on a bench first then go install them. Poof, long distance and quite robust.

Able to transport Ethernet signal 1000'
I use these to shoot internet signal from a host site where a Starlink is installed to remote site up to 1000' away with NO obstructions between the 2 antennas and the transfer speed is equal to that of the host site. The Ubiquiti hardware is Enterprise level hardware, they always have Firmware updates for their products. I have used them at several locations now and plan to use them more in the future. The 5AC model has an extra PoE passthru Ethernet port if you choose to install something like a remote PoE based camera.
