Bought this set after watching a TV program featuring the company that makes them.They are well presented in colourful tins which look good and help keep the product fresh. With regard to the taste and flavour - the jury is still out!

Mara seaweed is a wonderful way to add nutrients to your food. I have been using Mara since the beginning, around eight years ago now. I was looking for a way to enhance nutrition in my diet. I found Mara seaweed. I used to eat seaweed as a child.The health benefits are numerous. Thyroid, skin, hair, nails. B vitamins. Iodine & many more. I use it as a condiment on fish, meat dishes, soups, even sandwiches. A must have in my book.

I am so disappointed! I have ordered this gift set in the past and the tins were proper shaker tins, the only feature which justifies the price! I normally order the catering tubs and love your products, however I fancied having a set of shaker tins forvthe table, having thrown the previous set out. There is no shaker filter in any of the 3 tins and I had already had two disaster when a shed load has fallen into my cooking. Such a waste of a not cheap product! I don't know how you can call him shaker tins now. I would have better off just ordering the more economical catering tubs I would appreciate a positive reply to my problem.Thank you.

Three cute little pots that can stand decoratively by the stove. Dulse, kombu and shony, which is my favourite. I loved the shony so much I ordered a large tub. I am wholefood plant based SOS free. I needed a salt substitute. These are all very good but I find the Shony really tasty to sprinkle onto cooked food before eating. The other two, I like to sprinkle whilst food is cooking. The little tubs are not shakers, but I just take out a pinch of the flakes and sprinkle into or onto food. On the back of each tins, it gives you ideas of what the seaweed would nicely flavour. If you’re not sure of the different tastes of seaweeds and feel intrigued, this is a good starting point. It’s also a very good gift for someone, especially if they are health conscious, vegetarian, vegan. I would definitely recommend them.
