Good quality
2 for 15 quid, bargain, cheapest I found. These appear heavy, well made and come gift wrapped so to speak. There's an accessory pack with two wicks included also and a set of instructions. Make sure you read the instructions, don't overfill and remove the protective film from the 'flint' before use. It works well, it's designed well. If you need flints, gaskets etc they're available on e-Bay.

Fantastic but not perfect . 5*****
Works well but not every strike lights , once you learn to strike the match downwards maybe three goes before it ignites but very good , a big flame that stays lit outdoors . That's why it's a 5 star review

A good back up lighter for camping & bushcraft
I have been looking for a permanent match to use as a back up lighter for camping & bushcraft, and I spent quite some time researching the different ones before buying this one from VVAY.I've waited three weeks before writing this review, as I wanted to test it out in the field before expressing an opinion. The pros:It arrived quickly, in a smart presentation box with spare wick included, which was great. It feels solid and looks to be made from durable materials; I think it will last a long time. Both the wick & flint can be replaced. (It came with a spare wick, and I've found that the flint from a Zippo lighter fits if you ever need to replace that in time.Because it is airtight, the fuel doesn't leak or evaporate after 4 days as my Zippo does, which means that when you do need to use it, you won't find that it's bone dry and fails to light.Once you've cleaned the black paint off the Ferro rod and practised with it a little, you'll find it easy to use, even in the rain!It produces a good size flame which burns for long enough to allow you to light a camping stove or fire, or whatever it is you need to ignite. The Cons:You need to practise with this before going out with it. If you are used to using a Ferro rod, you won't have any issues with this.Ensure that you scrape the protective black paint off the Ferro rod first to produce a good spark. It makes the match much easier to light.Other reviewers have mentioned that you can overfill the canister with fuel, which is true. If you do, then the lighter fuel will overflow when you screw the match in place. I think you'll only do that once though. Just make sure you wipe it off before trying to strike the match!Because the lighter is small and neat, it does mean that the Ferro rod along the side is quite slim, which can be a bit fiddly to use in poor weather conditions. On the whole, I am pleased with my purchase. It is worthy of its place in my fire starting kit as a back up to my full-size Ferro rod and striker, and for those occasions when you need a flame source to light damp tinder.

Worth buying if you're willing to put in the time
tl;dr: If you're willing to adjust it and practice, this thing is well worth it!Pros:- Nice overall build quality, quite stylish, robust- Good flame, large, wind proof, hot- Nifty, eye catching product, good conversation starter- Good sparks if you need to just use it as a striking stickCons:- Takes a bit of getting used to, there's a knack to the exact striking technique- Wick needs pulling, chamber needs topping up, after every couple of successful lights- You need to block the inlet of the chamber to prevent spillage while striking- The flame isn't particularly clean, emitting a black smoke, and a strong petrolly smellTips:- Strike away from yourself, with the match tilted down- If the match doesn't light immediately, dip it back in the chamber then rough up the wick to improve surface area- If you're lighting a smoke, let the petrol burn off for a couple of seconds to prevent a bitter taste coming through- Smaller firmer strikes are better than big soft ones

This thing will turn you into a pyromaniac
I love lighting a candle in my office as much as anyone, but once it burns down deep in the jar, it’s a hassle to reach with a lighter. Matches are an option, but I always feel guilty about tossing them after one use. So, I got this permanent match as a replacement, and oh my days—it’s so addictive to use! It takes a few tries to get the hang of lighting it, but once you do, it’s dead easy, smells great, and there’s something so satisfying about the whole open-light-fire process. Great bit of kit!

Don't Bother
********UPDATE******** Yes looks and feels nice but hardly ever lights, sparks but won't light and it uses lighter fuel quicker than our Golf R32. Save your money find something else.Well a lot nicer than I thought it would be, good solid item, quite heavy. Yes it can be tricky to light at times but it works well. Just be careful when filling it, don't go passed half full or when you put the lighter bit back in the fuel will come out, I know some videos say to 3/4 fill trust me your fuel will be all over.

Maybe second strike
I do love this, but it's not always first time everytimeAs you may see in my pic, I keep this on my rollator, as a backup to my usual (made in USA) petrol lighter.Do t you hate it when your petrol lighter suddenly dies?Well with this, you have a back up, and unlike the lighter this goes on and on and on and on and on.Doesn't always light first strike, but not usually more than 3.I can imagine if your a survivalist, this would be great to carry with you.Easy to recommendGreat valueEasy to useConvenientLong lastingIt works (ok a couple goes sometimes)Well made.See, it's good ain't it

Amazing lighter
I love this lighter I use it daily it has replaced my other one I highly recommend this item 10/10 The people giving bad reviews probably haven't read the instructions or just don't know how to use it properly.
