Wessel-WerkShag Rake For Canister Vacuum Cleaner

I feel like there could be some improvements made on this shag attachment. Some way for it to have a little more suction instead of just directly under where it connects. Otherwise, this little attachment does a pretty good job. It requires a little work, but I feel like that comes with owning a shag rug. I've found quick repetitive strokes, in a V or W shape, work great for pulling up pet hair. I attached it to my ShopVac, which I use on my hardwood floors, and it works wonderfully. I've used it with and without the extension wands.

I wanted so badly for this to work on my fragile 1.5" high shag rug. Unfortunately it did not pick up the matted down fibers because it was to thin and weak. The shag fibers are very fine/ thin and light weight so I'm assuming this would not work with many typical shag rugs.

This product fluffs up the carpet and does it's best at sucking out any dirt. It's best if you use it often on your thick shag. It does the job it's designed to do and a price that is 1/3 of other similar products. It's a good tool to have for your carpet.

Fit right onto my Oreck Mini. Ideal for roughing up high traffic areas in short shag.

Haven't used it yet but it seems to be solid construction. Will update when I use.

Never thought I'd need one of these after shags of the 1970s. But shags are in again and this works. None of our standard hose ends did the job.

It may work bettter if you use it from the time you purchase the carpet. I have a area rug and part was flattened, this did not help.

This does the job. it ( gently ) pulls the nap back up and maintains a new look
