Amazingly terrifically wioderfully good.
I have a few very nice pool cues from the early 80's through the early 90's, Meuccis, Pechauers, etc.,that have been well taken care of, but played a lot.I cleaned them with a Mr. Clean Magic sponge first, using alcohol not water as a wetting agent, to take the blue out, then just followed the instructions that came with the Slippy Papers.A few passes with these little beauties and they make my hands happy again. They are like new.Use a cue burnisher, I use a piece of old deerskin suede, to really give it that SMMMMOOOOOOTH feel.PS, NEVER, not ever, use one of those scrubber type pads on a good cue. They raise the grain.

Absolutely Amazing!!!
I have a very high end McDermott Cue that was just not as smooth as it used to be, and had one small ding in it. I used the 3 levels of Slippy Cue Papers and it is like brand new (maybe even better). That cue is as smooth as it can possibly be and the Slippy Cues did not effect the look at all. Now I just use the finest paper included on a regular basis to keep my cue perfectly smooth at all times. Works better than anything I have used in the past.

Exactly the right grits to maintain a perfect shaft. I loop blue medium film loosely around the shaft and buff with long strokes and wipe away sandings with a soft cotton cloth. Same with green fine grit. With yellow ultra fine, I hold tightly around the shaft and generate some heat from friction using rapid short strokes. Follow that up with a drop or two of Cue Silk on a cheap bar napkin and you're way good to go.

These papers do a great job of making your cue's shaft nice and smooth ...
These papers do a great job of making your cue's shaft nice and smooth (much better than the old-school dollar-bill method), even on a brand-new shaft. Be sure to use these BEFORE applying shaft conditioner or wax. They're also very easy to clean: just hold them under tap water and rub the dust off. I'm still on my first set, which I've used about a dozen times. The package includes 12 papers (4 sets of 3), each paper measuring 2.75x1.75 inches.

Amazingly, makes cue beyond smooth
I would give 6 stars if I could, makes my shaft so smooth without chemicals and blows the Q-wiz out of the water, and does takes much less time.Would recomend for any shaft or level of player

These Slippy Cue papers work great to smooth out the shaft of your pool cue
These Slippy Cue papers work great to smooth out the shaft of your pool cue. They come in Fine, Super-FIne, and Ultra-Fine. Take your time to work through the progressively finer grits and you will be rewarded with a glass-like finish. They are reusable simply rinse clean after using. Great product.
