Sleeveless Classy Vintage Tea Dress with Belt Size S F-11

An elegant dress. We bought the white with black print flowers. Simple but beautifully designed. My daughter picked this out for her graduation. She is a size 4 according to the chart, we bought a Small, and it is a perfect fit. Because of the stretch in this sturdy fabric, it should also fit a size 6. She is 5' 7' and the dress hits just above the knee -- a very flattering length. The skirt is a full circle, and has enough body to look perky even without a crenalin. Since it is white, she will need to wear a slip. The back of the neck does pooch out a little, but everything else about the dress is perfect. She loves it and will wear it to graduation, awards ceremonies, and recitals.

I am 5’7” 140#, 36C and the medium fits perfectly all around. There’s a little stretch in the material to compensate for the fact that every woman is proportioned a little differently, but not so much that a small would’ve worked. The belt is a nice quality, velvety with a silver buckle but very long. Im extremely pleased with the pattern (black and white) as well as the boatneck cut and length of the dress. Extremely versatile. I’ve bought this brand before and always have great luck

Purchased the white with black floral pattern. For those wondering as I was before I purchased, the white is bright white. Not ivory, not off white, but old school washing machine white. Plastic bag white. Hotel towel white. I think you get the picture. *White*Purchased both a small and medium. The medium fit, and will be returning the small— couldn’t even begin to get into the small and I normally am a small in most other apparel.Am 5’5” 127 pounds, measurements are 37C-29-36 inches. Length on me is flattering, hitting at the back of the knee.The top was just a bit snug, but it was a perfect fit across the shoulders and back, which is what you want for a vintage dress, not loose and ill-fitting. You’re not playing tennis like Serena in this.The waist feels like it could fit up to 30-31 inches. I am just about maxing out this dress in a medium, definitely hit the limit in the chest. I couldnt imagine anyone with bigger measurements getting into this size comfortably. Be realistic about your measurements and order the correct corresponding size. Free returns means you can order two sizes just in case and return the one you don’t fit.The fabric weight was medium. Decent. Has a small bit of stretch in it. Thank goodness because otherwise not sure I would have fit my bust in it.The waistline is high. Not empire, but not dropped at all in the least. Due to my chest the waistline pulled up in the front and looked awkward. A wide belt concealed the issue and ended up looking much better than the thin belt that came with it. The resulting silhouette was what I was going for, and helped smooth out those few extra inches middle age has added.I opted to also purchase the sweater from the same seller, but warning that the sweater is definitely cream, while the dress is a bright white. As a note, the sweater is thin as lightweight, a bit cheaply made and the terrible plastic buttons makes it look cheap as well. Do yourself a favor and plan to swap out the buttons with some good ones from the fabric department. Otherwise, the fit and style was spot on. I went with a small in the sweater. Perfect fit.Lastly, you don’t want to pass on the petticoat. I purchased the one from the same seller. Just enough fill without looking childish or like a costume.Hope this helps.

Ordered this dress, after reading tons of reviews, for my tall 11 yo daughter to wear to a wedding. I also ordered a red petticoat from a link in another review, based on a photo someone else posted of a girls’ choir performance. We may add a red ribbon to the waist - she didn’t like the included belt.She LOVES the dress (even though she’s more of a tomboy type) and it fits her well - it looks loose in the photo, but in person it looks appropriate for a tween.For reference, she is 5’ 3.5” and 113 lbs. She’s also maturing rapidly and she does have a chest. I ordered size Small.

I am 5 4", ~120 lb, I bought an S size and it fits me perfect. The size chart for this dress is under-estimated (the dress is larger that it listed in the size chart). I think my waist is ~29.5 inch, that my chest is ~34.5 inches, so according to the size chart, I should buy an medium. But I saw a lot of comments the dress was big. So I decided to by a small one, and it fits me percent! The cloth material is very nice, and endurable. Overall, I love it a lot! I was surprised when I got it. I don't often leave comments on Amazon products, but I like this dress so much so I would like to share my experience to others!

This dress is so beautiful! I wore this to a formal event with a crinoline underneath and a black long sleeved shrug for warmth. I received so many compliments! The people in my party told me just as many people walked by and commented they loved my dress without actually walking up and saying it to me. I would definitely wear this again without the crinoline and a pair of black flats out to dinner. The dress was hit, I felt beautiful and best of all I can wear it dressed up or dressed down. I would definately buy this again. I am 5'7' about 115 lbs. this dress fit as expected, but was tight around my chest (I wear a C cup). The length is just below my knees.

My daughter adored this dress. It was dressy yet modest. She wore it to prom and also to her solo and ensemble competition but styled it differently. This past weekend she wore it at camp for formal night and spilled a little something on it. we washed it and the black bled all over the dress. It is pink in places to grey and it is throughout the whole dress. She is so saddened as she loved this dress and of course we are outside of the return window. I'm unsure how to contact the seller to see if there's anything that can be done.
