The media could not be loaded. Initial review:Purchased the 20lb bag of 1/2 inch pieces and MUCH of the bag consists of significantly smaller pieces. The color is beautiful but I’m concerned about the smaller size staying well in my outdoors fireplace.Updated Review:Upon receiving my initial 3 star review regarding the inconsistent sizing and many smaller pieces, the seller quickly reached out to resolve the issue. They immediately sent us a replacement which had significantly more of the larger pieces. These have now been installed in our fireplace and I’m really happy with the quality. I’m still playing around with placement and the possibility of if we need more or not. While I would not have necessarily recommended before, I absolutely do now. Great seller and great product.Note: like other reviews mention, I do recommend rinsing off with water before installing to make sure they’re clean as a bit of residue happens in the manufacturing/shipping stages. This is quick and easy to do and I immediately saw a difference.

The stones seem very nice, but they are much darker than I need in my fireplace. I’m going to try to order lighter stones and hope for the best.

Spread over top of lava rock to give some extra sparkle to a fire table. Absolutely love the look. Important to rinse the glass as others have mentioned before use. There are some sharp edges so I would recommend using gloves as I did. So far, the glass has not discolored with use. If you don’t rinse, I could see how the powdery residue could be problematic. Happy with my purchase!

Just what I needed for my fire table. I replaced the lava rocks but did use one layer of lava rocks on the bottom as there wasn't quite enough of the glass rocks to fill the fire table. Love the glass rocks. Adds a whole new look. Follow the instructions on cleaning the glass rocks as they are covered in dust, which I could only remove once I soaked them in hot, soapy water and used a big stick to stir them around.One thing to note is that the glass rocks are much smaller than the lava rocks which caused an issue with the ignition. The glass rocks fell into the housing unit of the ignition where the conductor is located, which then blocked the igniter conductor so when trying to start it, it would not ignite. Took awhile to figure that out.So, managed to remove the glass rocks from the housing unit (had to use tweezers) and then placed lava rocks over top of the housing unit and then placed the glass rocks around the lava rocks and problem solved.Good buy and was delivered fast.Very pleased.
