Sturdy, easy to lock and open
These are easy to lock with the sliding bar that goes across the container. If the green button is extended, the compartments are unlocked. If the red button is extended, the containers are locked. Easy to use, and when unlocked, each compartment is easy to open without much force. Note that the locking mechanism is not child-proof, but easy for arthritic hands to lock, unlock. I've used these for at least 5 years, and they are durable.

Nice case.
It is a nice case and fortunately, my kid could not figure out how to open it, so mission accomplished.

Donât buy this
It is supposed to have a locking feature, it does not work at all. I filled it up, had it in my bag, had 50 different pills spilled all into my bag. It doesnât lock, it doesnât work. Just donât buy it.

Love the size but worry about safety locks, seems weak

The worst of 5 locking bins...
I bought 5 different locking med bins, and this is the one I like least. The lock is too simple, push it one way to lock all compartments, push it the other way to open them all. There is no way to âlockâ it in place, so very easy to get pushed to open position and have meds fall out in purse, the main problem I was addressing in switching to locking bins. However, I like the way this bin looks, especially the way the days are written on it. So, to use this bin, I applied duck tape to the side you push to lock so as to keep it pushed in and locked. It is a bit of a pain, but is mostly working. I have found I can still open some of the compartments in the locked position if I try hard enough, but it has not opened in my purse as of yet.As to 3 of the other 4 bins, they each have a retractible button to push to open only one or as many compartments as you need. The default position is locked. So far I am very pleased with them and have had no spills! The 4th one has a button on the side; you push one way to open all compartments, push the other way to lock all compartments. It is a good lock as the lids do not open in locked position. It is very easy to turn, so probably not child-proof, and as to everyday function I have yet to try it, but will review once I have. The only other issue I have applies to this one and 3 of the 4, is you do not necessarily get the color shown and you have no choice in color received. The 4th bin (see picture) can be found in craft supplies and comes in only one color-clear with a purple locking mechanism. Color matters to me, as I use it to help keep me from mistaking day pills from night pills. So some of the colors were not what I would have wanted. There really should be a choice of color option for these med bins.

Good sorting function
Lots of space for medications and supplements. I have ordered this twice and they are still working great. I will say that both times I got a green one, so take that for what it is worth.

Nice size, but not locking
I like the size, but doesnât lock as advertised. Just a small push unlocked in my bag and had vitamins all over the bottom of my backpack.
