Philips Hue Argenta Colour Smart LED Double Spotlight

I love these - very nice looking & good light control through the Hue app.I bought them on offer at 1/2 price, which was great - not so sure about value for money at full price

The media could not be loaded.  Wow, wow and 5 x wow! Those are like cherry on top of the cake. Love HUE, my whole house is made out of HUE bulbs and HUE lamps. I know, expensive but hey we have only one life! It is worth it every penny you spend on those lamps. See for yourself on the photos and video. Just renovating my master bedroom and those are perfect fit. Buy them is you need cool lights. Seriously extremely happy with them and I have fitted them myself so saved a little bit on mr sparky lol!

Replaced an old light fitting with these. The electrician said they were fairly simple to install. Currently have them synced to my Ambilight TV and other various Hue products that react to my Xbox games. Very bright and colourful, good bit of fun and worth the money.

The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is due to the price, I should mention.We got this for our kitchen to replace a horrid fluorescent light that the previous owners had left in. By contrast this well designed light has a sleek modern look, and gives the appearance of daylight.Fitting is reasonably easy, although it is a lot easier with an assistant. There is a metal bracket at the back with plenty of “give” and the only issue is to get the back plate into place with two decent screws. I was impressed that once one screw was fitted, it did take the weight when I accidentally let go. Getting the second screw in was a bit of a faff on, but once in it seems really secure.Fitting itself would be ideal for a modern living room and you can obviously sync the spotlights to your TV etc. For us it throws good light in our small kitchen where I can’t fit LED bulbs in the ceiling due to lack of clearance.It’s stylish to look at, and although it is expensive, I am glad I’ve bought it.

Lovely light, I didn't realise each bulb was treated separately and could be a different colour until it was installed and that was a lovely bonus. Had a week moment when it didn't seem to turn on last night but assume it was a blip, otherwise another fantastic Philips hue light.

I uninstalled a light fitting (which housed 8 units of E14 standard white bulbs) for the Philips Hue Argenta quadruple spotlights. I love the fact that the 4 spotlights are independent and you can choose different colours, shades and brightness of each bulb.I already own a sync box and 4 Philips Hue play bar stuck to the back of my TV and this spotlight also add to the immersion of the contents I use the play bars for; either music, movies or games and when I'm not syncing the spotlights to TV contents, e.g., when watching regular TV, I can choose which side of the room I want to dim, brighten, change colour turn off, etc. And when it is time for bed, the light's brightness is on 20%, ensuring I can still see around the front room but not straining my eyes, all at the tap of the phone screen.It is worth mentioning that if you have a big room, dark spots is inevitable unless you have/are prepared to invest in other light source(s), otherwise, the spotlight may not be ideal as my living room is slightly bigger because of the extension so the light only properly covered the areas the unit is closer too, creating dark spots in two areas. This is the only downside of my purchase but will not cost a less star as this is not manufacturer's misinformation or fault of any kind.I will invest in a floor lamp for atmospheric lighting to cover a dark spot and also to complement the ambient lighting with the hope that the other dark spot won't be noticeable as much. But all in all, This unit has totally transformed my living room, especially at night and absolutely happy with this purchase.

I was living in the dark for ages, till I found this. Amazing light, now I have illumination during the dark ages.

Expensive but brilliant effect when set up. Hue can take a while to update so don’t panic if all your lights don’t register to the app at once. When all the updates were finished it worked perfectly and still does. Looks very stylish!

Comme a son habitude Philips a produit un spot qualitatif, facile a mettre en place avec une connectivité au top ! Bluetooth ou via le pont Philips hue, personnellement pour avoir déjà pas mal d’ampoule Philips hue j’utilise le pont afin d’avoir plus de possibilité de personnalisation. Acheter pour éclairer un escalier, coupler avec un détecteur de mouvement afin d’automatiser l’éclairage de ce dernier.Rien a redire, possibilité de changer la couleur/intensité en fonction de l’heure de la journée (pour ma part c est blanc puissance maximum en journée et jaune faible dans la nuit).Attention toutefois, je pense que la puissance du spot seul n’est pas suffisante pour éclairer une chambre. En espérant avoir été utile merci de me le faire savoir.

Alu-Optik, also nicht die vielfach bei Hue vorhandene Plastik-Optik. Alle drei Farben separat ansteuerbar, über die App Farbverläufe mittels drei Einzelfarben möglich, wenn sich die Lichtkegel der drei Spots überlappen.
