15 April 2020The Geeni app is user friendly (see UPDATE below). I just followed the prompts and in no time the light was "learned" by the app.I learned to not assign a room to each light in the Geeni app. It is not necessary and it did "confuse" the interface between the Greenie app and Google Home. I found it best to leave the light without a room assignment in the Geenie app and only assign a room in the Google Home app.When this light is in the White Light mode it is very bright. When displaying colors the lumens are not nearly as bright as white light. I suppose when in the color mode, the light is intended to provide "mood" lighting and not bright task or floodlighting. But, when in while light mode it is awesome.I like the fact that a hub or interface is not needed. These lights are WiFi controlled. No Bluetooth either. Once the light is first powered up, it fast flashes to indicate that it is ready to be "learned" by the Geenie app. From then on, just follow the app prompts.I installed these lights in EnviroLite #EVR6LICRAT cans bought at Home Depot.22 April 2020 - UPDATEI tried. In spite of my best efforts, the interface between the Geeni app and Google Home only worked about 50% of the time. I went as far as to reset everything back to factory defaults and then I set everything back up again. It just was not consistent. I have given up. Return started.

Installed yesterday, integrated with my smart home, and costs less than the other brands. I bought these to replace some "dumb lights" on my front porch. They were easy to add to my Alexa, and I was able to quickly setup a schedule. I haven't used the different colors yet, but they'll be useful for the holiday season.

Very bright but i was looking for lights dimmer compatible. These will not work if a switch dimmer is installed. Only dims via remote control. Returned and never got past they flickered with wall dimmer in place. Back to white led bulbs that dim right.

Missing the E26 socket adapter. You cannot install without them. All recessed can lights come with this adapter, why this was not in the box was a huge disappointment because I could not just pick up from Lowe's or Home depot so I had to send back. I will try another brand.

These lights are easy enough to install and once you have the Geeni app setup, adding a new light is very easy. The adjustability of temperature and brightness is good, but the voice command options with Alexa are not quite as granular as I would like and for color options are a bit more difficult to discover. Overall, a good product and worth the money.

These are awesome my grandkids love them put four in there room the colors are cool and the rotating patterns are cool they love it. installed easy, setup was easy going to buy more for the other rooms.

Works great, nice and bright. I really like that the warmth of the white light is adjustable. The Colors are fun too. Works seamlessly with Alexa (after installing geeni app and Alexa geeni skill) I am not using a hub.

I have many other Geeni products, but for some reason, these aren’t great. I have them set to be a calming blue color but when they transition from white to color, they strobe a very bright white and then go to blue. They also do this when going from off to color. I’m very disappointed.
