Best quality beef cheeks, worth it!
This is puppy survival 101. I have a 9 month Doberman who eats EVERYTHING he puts in his mouth. So, if he can destroy it, it had better be edible. These are digestible, long lasting chews that he loves. They do have a smell to them (I've smelled worse) and they tend to get on his nose and fabric surfaces like his bed, but it wipes off pretty easily and it keeps him entertained for hours. They are cost effective especially when you compare them to pizzle/bully sticks which, depending on the thickness, can last 10 minutes to an hour if he is determined. My boy likes to really chew these so I feel comfortable leaving them in his crate, but certainly supervise at first to make sure your pup doesn't try to swallow that last, too big chunk.Update: I've tried other beef cheeks when these were out of stock....I was not impressed. These are individually wrapped and stay fresh. My dog will actually just leave the others and not eat them. These are still the winners!

Great high value treat.
Yes they smell bad so give them to your dog outside. We have bought them before and they smelled bad too. These are such a high-value treat we save them for special occasions. Our large dog hates having her tail brushed but if she’s eating one of these she doesn’t even notice. We have used them after washing her when we had to leave conditioner on for 5 minutes, we gave her one of these and she quietly ate it, not worrying about anything else. I take them away from her when it gets too small. Also a lot of them have a smaller section that will separate so watch for that. Definitely don’t leave your dog unattended. But at least you know it will break down if they do eat large chunks. Our dog will get through one in about half an hour, but it is still worth it.

They smell bad!
These immediately had a different smell (even through the plastic wrapping) than the beef cheek rolls that I purchase individually from a big box pet store. As soon as my dog started chewing one the smell was very strong and terrible. Also, the one that he had did not hold up nearly as long as the ones that I purchase from the local big box pet store. My dog is a 70 lb Bernedoodle that is a medium to heavy chewer. The ones that I purchase locally last him for over a week, sometimes two weeks. The one from the shipment he chewed up in a matter of an evening and I took it away. Also, it made him very sick. I did not give him any more and went back to the individually purchased local beef cheek rolls. No smell whatsoever, they last much longer, and don't make him sick.

My dogs were in heaven, I was in hell!
The media could not be loaded. We are not new to beef cheeks and had other brands before. The smoked were sold out and my dogs don't show much interest in the plain ones. So I ordered these. My dogs love them, would give them 5 Paws if they could. I have various levels of chewers and 1 gummer. They last a very reasonable amount of time and become soft from saliva but firm back up when dry. Do not step on one in the dark! Now lets talk scent. I am not sure if I got an extra heavily scented batch or if this is the norm. The dogs started drooling when the postal package arrived, they wanted that package and its contents. That should have been my warning but I misses it. When I opened the package a cloud of barnyard, hint of peanut butter and a slight note of roadkill rolled out, raced up my nose, burning hairs along the way and triggered my gag reflex. Trying not to puke I move them to the garage. Hoping the smell would fade I left them for 2 weeks. On a stink factor I would say they improved by about 30%. The dogs were driving me bonkers and the weather was miserable. So I covered the couch, turned on the diffuser (hoping it would help) sawed 2 of them in half and let the dogs each have a piece. They were back in heaven, contentedly working over their cheek roll. The more they licked, chewed and drooled the stronger they smelled. The diffuser didn't stand a chance. The dogs are content and I can handle it a half hour. Whew we made it. Dogs are napping,I am watching TV and Lizzie comes up for some loving and her entire front and face smell like she turned into one of those cheek rolls.Would I buy them again, only during the dry season when they can be outside and each dog gets a bath immediately after. The things we do for our dogs.

Addressed prior issue
I originally posted a review due to defective product. Contacted the seller and they immediately remedy the situation and have sent a new product to replace the defective product. They were very easy to work with, and very considerate.

Perhaps some of the reviews are misleading or products are different
Some of the reviews... quite a few of them have mentioned that there is a particularly smell associated with these beef cheek chews.. I have not found that to be true my Saint Bernard.. she is on them all day long and there's no odor at all that we can detect... One negative thing I would say is there was a small piece inside of one of them that came out that she didn't Chew... she basically ate and I was concerned about the digestive process but she did not regurgitate it and did not have any digestive issues from it... All in all since this is a muscle not the skin of the cow it is much more healthy and much more digestible and probably the best long-term chew that I have found for my Saint Bernard monster
