responsive company
After my last review I was contacted by Aobosi who asked if I would take another look at their product and the sent an updated wine fridge hopefully correcting some of the issues I had with the first unit that was sent. We’ve lived with the fridge the past few months and overall it’s a very nice unit, quiet and efficient. It keeps the wine at a constant temperature and the red/white zones do work. From what I’ve seen in the big box stores this is definitely a step up. My updated review is below;First a little about why I feel I’m qualified to do a review. I’ve spent my career in new product development working for a Global Manufacturing leader in highly Engineered products. One of the businesses that I was directly attached to manufactures the industry standard in air conditioning and refrigeration components, I’ve been down this path before. Hats off to Aobosi for listening to their customers, that’s always a good sign. The fridge arrived well packaged and in good shape, no issues there although it would be a bonus if they used more recyclable materials, this is pretty typical packaging from China where the unit is made. A word about Chinese manufacturing, it’s pretty good and some of the best AC&R companies are located there, I found the fit and finish to be excellent. The unit arrives with the handle detached, this makes sense since you wouldn’t want to accidently bend something if it was mishandled in shipping. The handle attaches to the door by 2 screws that are located behind the weather stripping on the door. You have to peel that section back to get to the screws, hold the handle in place and then screw to attach. While not a big deal and you only do this once it’s not as easy as the post and set screw you find on most other appliances. My beef with the first fridge was that the drawers were mis-aligned and to close to fit a bottle of wine in, that has been corrected and the drawers were all parallel to each other although the bottom drawer was a little tight. They design this for 2.75” diameter bottles, I measured our bottles at the shoulder and the range was between 2.95 and 3.4 inches, these were from the US, France and Italy. My advice to Aobosi would be to make the spacing a little more generous, I’m not trying to pack as many bottles in as possible rather with this size fridge I want to store some of the more common bottles for easy access.Overall I’m giving this a 4 star, taking off a little for the handle and the use of non-recyclable packaging. From my practical experience we’ve been happy with the unit and I do recommend it.

Good fridge, with some exceptions
Seems to be a decent so far. I’ve had it up for a couple of days. I wish I could make the top section warmer for red wine, as I prefer red to white, but I knew what I was getting temperature wise when I bought the product. What I am rather disappointed in, however, is that the shelves are so tight and even with the smallest 750ml bottles I can only get 28 bottles in, not 30. The second shelf from the bottom is shorter and has a lip on the ends, so 2 bottles can’t be flipped over making it 5 per shelf, like advertised. It’s also so close to the shelf above that it gets stuck and can’t be adjusted. You can see the scratch marks on two bottles in the attached photos simply from sliding the drawers out. You’ll also notice the three are tighter together on that shelf than the others, thus eliminating the opportunity for two additional bottles.False advertising on the 5 bottles per shelf unless I’m missing something, and I don’t think I am. I’ve spent 2 days trying to get that shelf to hold 5.

Why I hate the wine refrigerator manufacturers
The main complaint about this wine fridge is that the bottle count is inaccurate. ALL manufacturers say the count is based on Bordeaux wine bottles which measure 2.75" in dia. Most 750ml wine bottles typically measure 3 to 3.2 inches so instead of being able to fit 5 wine bottles per shelf you can really only fit 3, 4 if you don't mind having the front 3 not lay straight. The manufacturer claims you may have to remove shelves to accommodate larger sized bottles. The 3" bottles fit in between the shelves allowing the shelves to be pulled out but again will not allow you stagger the bottles to fit 5 bottles per shelf. This decreases the storage to roughly 20 bottles not the 30 as stated. I mistakenly assumed that the majority of the bottles I have would fit with the exception of those holding Pinot as an example. I bought this second wine fridge believing I could store a good percentage of my wine of the smaller Bordeaux style bottles in it. Wrong, of the over 100 bottles I own only 2 measured the 2.75" If the height works why in God's name can't they make the dam fridge 2" wider so the shelves actually hold what the name suggests? The temperature has really never stabilized at the set point but stays within 1 degree or 2 of its setting. Finally, while the noise level is not prohibitive it is louder than the Vinotemp I also own.Unfortunately the capacity issue is not unique to Aobosi so I'd suggest that anyone considering the purchase of a wine fridge measure the bottle diameters that they currently own. They all use the ridiculous 2.75" Bordeaux bottle standard.

Good wine cooler. Great customer support.
Nice looking wine cooler. Nice lighting (makes for a good night light!). Like the size of it. You can store about 28 bottles of wine but you have to put some of the bottles in neck first & it's a tight fit. Would buy a larger one, but no room for it & this little fridge does the trick. Not crazy about the shelves. They do not come in/out very smoothly. I can hear it sometimes, but it's not something that is bothersome. It's quieter than say, the refrigerator. The bottom portion of the wine cooler stopped working recently. I contacted Aobosi & was able to get some help. BUT you have to email them using the email address inside the wine cooler manual! Do not try to use the product support from the Amazon website as it does not work!!! If you email the correct address, they will respond asap!

Works well.
Purchased this fridge on June 2021, it stopped working in September 2022, although it was out of warranty I contacted the company and they sent me a new power board free of charge. I was able to fix it. Lynette their representative was very helpful and was in touch with me throughout the process.
