ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
I have to admit, I ordered this product as a last resort. I had tried every “home hack” I knew to clean and deodorize bedding and furniture in a furnished room I rent out in my home. One of my “short term” tenants got stuck here in the US because of the pandemic. Not only could he not go back home overseas, he had to work remotely from home. 16 months, 24-7, he hibernated in one room. Every time he opened the door, I could smell his distinct body odor drift out, down the hall. It wasn’t that he was unclean, it was just that his body odor had permeated everything. I knew I was in for a challenge. When he moved out, I spent three days cleaning floors, walls, furniture, and laundering bedding. I soaked the bedding in vinegar and water overnight, washed it repeatedly, but all of it still smelled like him. Even painted surfaces, after being washed down, smelled like a men’s locker room. I thought I was going to have to throw out all the bedding, a fabric task chair, and paint the inside of the closet.I began researching odor removal and came across enzyme cleaners. Amazon’s own brand is an absolute steal at under $20 per gallon. I couldn’t find much in the reviews on laundering, but figured I had nothing to loose by trying. If this didn’t work, I would have to replace a comforter, duvet cover, shams, sheet set, mattress protector, task chair, and paint. I soaked the comforter in a washing machine tub of cool water with 2 1/2 cups of the enzyme cleaner overnight. Not only did it come out smelling fresh, it was bright white, like brand new...the same with the mattress cover. All the other bedding I soaked separately for a minimum of 6 hours. ALL OF IT came out smelling clean and new. No odor, no discoloration from body oils. I was blown away. Hard surfaces I washed down with a 50/50 mix of water and enzyme cleaner. The smell was immediately gone. The task chair had a fabric covered foam seat. It was the worst of everything. It could smell up a whole room by itself with no supporting players. I saturated the seat cushion with about 1 1/2 cups of straight cleaner and mushed it until it foamed up like a sponge full of detergent. I just left it outside to dry; and voila, odor gone the next day when it was dry. I found the product pleasant smelling. Any product after smell disappeared after 3-4 days.I am so impressed by this product! I even used it to clean my stinky kitchen sink drain. Poured a couple cups in when I went to bed, let it sit overnight, rinsed through in the morning. Fresh as a daisy now! Yesterday, I washed a goose down feather comforter that had been used by a previous tenant that had retained body odor and body oil discoloration after cleaning. I soaked it overnight with the enzyme cleaner added to the water. It’s now bright white and smells fresh.Great product, great value.

POV Of A Dog Groomer and Dog Mom
Pet professional here (dog groomer and trainer business owner)This is an absolute must. I use the 32 oz spray bottles you only need 2 oz of this for a good mixture for a heavy bottle use 4 oz. You really don’t need the 4. This will turn yellow pee into clear liquid. If you are struggling to get poop up this will melt it as well. This is my first step in cleaning after you wipe up as much as possible. You’ll first spray the area leave it a minute or two wipe it up then follow with your preferred cleaner. The gallon last my grooming salon a year if you don’t over use it. There’s no need to over use this product a little goes a long way.You can also wash your pet bedding in this as well to get that odor out of it as well. About 1/4 cup is what I use.Absolute game changer and the best product for actually getting rid of the scent and urine. The enzymes break down the protein the in the pee and poop which helps to dissuade other dogs from going there.

Love this stuff, but….
First let me say how much I love this enzyme cleanser. I foster for a rescue group and usually take seniors or hospice dogs that have been abandoned by their owners due to medical costs. I will sometimes get a call or text asking if we can take a pregnant mama, or pup (less than 1 year of age) that are sitting in a shelter and on the kill list. The seniors and hospice are usually housebroken but due to either medical issues or age, they have accidents, most of the pups one year or younger are all in need of house training! My husband and I enjoy opening our home and hearts to these dogs, so a few years ago we remodeled the downstairs to pull out all of the carpet and install tile that looks like wood planks, it is so much easier to clean/sanitize and doesn’t retain stains and odors! Our upstairs is still carpeted and looked horrendous. We can’t install the same tile as downstairs due to the weight of the tile plus mortar/mastic and grout. I have been looking for vinyl planks that would match in color as our double stairway does butt up to the tile floor in two spots and I wanted the same look throughout our home.Anyway, I haven’t found the right match to the weathered barn wood looking tile but the carpet was bad and I was ready to tear it out and “settle” for something I knew I would regret. I had tried cleaning the worse areas and nothing I used (all pet related products “guaranteed to remove stains and odors”) worked. I was browsing cleaning products on Amazon and came across this, read the reviews and added to cart. I started by treating one of the worst areas, diluted 50/50 with water and saturated using a pressurized “Hudson” sprayer. It immediately started bubbling on the worst spots. I allowed it to sit for about an hour and went back with my Bissell carpet cleaner using their pet cleaning solution. OMG the carpet almost looked brand new! Some of the really bad stains were mere shadows that were barely visible, but I could still see them. Probably my mind playing tricks on my eyes but I could still see the faint outline on the really bad spots. Stil, it was a night and day difference!Slowly I have been treating the bad areas and just regular cleaning the normal “dirty”high traffic trails. This product has given life back to my carpet and bought me time to find the perfect flooring for my upstairs without sacrificing our love for taking in these abandoned dogs (and cats). No longer do I keep my upstairs off limits when people visit my home because I am so embarrassed about the condition of my carpet! I also keep the sprayer filled with the diluted solution and when the dogs have their accidents, this is what I use to treat/clean those spots. I saturate the spot, let it sit and then take a folded up bath towel, lay it on top and stand on it to absorb the solution. I do the towel thing multiple times using fresh towels until the majority is absorbed and then I allow it to air dry. No stain and no odor! Also, over the years and especially after becoming pet fosters, I slowly gave away colored towels and bath sheets and only purchase white so that they can be bleached in the laundry. Something I learned quickly from other fosters with the rescue group.I did take one star off my rating (and it kills me to do so) because the plastic gallon jug, used to package this liquid gold, is cheap and every jug has eventually sprung a leak by splitting somewhere along the molded seam, thus leaking the remaining product. The first time it happened on my carpet when I stored this and the Bissell cleaner in an unused guest bedroom. I thought it was a fluke but the second time the jug was on a shelf in the garage. I wish Amazon would look into this and revamp the packaging or ask their manufacturer to get better quality jugs! I just purchased another jug and am going to get a higher quality liquids storage container (Rubbermaid or similar) and transfer the product myself to prevent anymore spills and waste of this wonderful cleaner.I know there are a lot of other uses, I read that someone uses this in their drains to keep gunk from building on the ID of their home’s plumbing, or another said that during hot months they get gnats coming up through their drains and this kills them. I will attest that since using this to clean my carpet and flushing the spent tank on my cleaner down the tub drain in our guest bath, we have not had any issues with clogs when I bath the dogs in that tub. I always clean the drain and tub after bathing and grab what I see before it gets to the drain while bathing, but some hair would still work its way down the drain and at least once a month the water would start backing up due to a slow drain, and we would have to treat with Draino or similar. This has not been an issue since we started using this and pouring the dirty extraction water down this drain. I believe that what the other reviewer said about “gunk” management of the piping is true. And since gunk is not lining the ID of the piping, any stray hairs from bathing the dogs don’t get caught up in that stuff so clogs in my piping are not forming.I hope this helps anyone on the fence about giving this a try, and if anyone from Amazon reads this…PLEASE, do something about the plastic jugs!
