I just tried this last night to roast some kebabs and made chicken tikka masala with this. It lights superquick with the volcanic charcoal disks. Stays hot for about an hour and a half.It's also the perfect size for singles or couples who don't do a lot of grilling and need small portions. I wish I could find a grill that was this size, because I don't have room or budget for a large grill.I wish they would make a portable one not made of cardboard where the sand/rocks can be replaced and the charcoal discs can be purchased.Some people have commented on the cardboard structure and the potential for that to catch fire. The inside is filled with sand and stone, which insulate the cardboard so it won't get hot enough to catch on fire. Nonetheless, use common sense. Have a fire extinguisher on hand and use outdoors on some concrete or an area where if it does catch fire it can be contained.Make sure you extinguish it with water after use before disposing. You can also just burn it in a fire as well.
