Good size and works well
Used this for cheese fondue for a small party and it worked very well. It was the perfect size for what I needed and doesn’t take up too much space for being stored. Only downside is when it gets too hot there’s no way to just turn down the temperature it has to be turned off.

Gifts
Bought for gifts and got myself one too. Cute little pot. Used to melt bakers chocolate for cookie topping. No temp regulator, but seems great otherwise.

Great little sauce pot but no temperature adjustment
Love the size, color, and functionality...I just was surprised that there was no temperature dial... I just need to plug and unplug as needed... price is great 👍

The crock holds about 1.5 liters
This crock pot is perfect for dips for a small gatherings. The petite size is great for either single servings or reasonable portions. Less mess than a chocolate fountain. The pot melts candy, butter, or cheese for a very easy clean up.

ONLY ONE TEMPERATURE SETTING
I bought and used this for chocolate dipping. There is no on/off switch. Plug it in, and it turns on. No temperature variation. And it is pretty hot. The outside of the pot is very hot and could burn someone. The ceramic pot inside also gets very, very hot. Children should NOT use this. So if you re careful, it works well to keep chocolate warm, but also needs regular stirring, otherwise your chocolate will burn. Lastly, I bought a new one, but it was not new since there was royal icing (my assessment) dried on the cord.

Love!
Love this little crock pot! Good quality and price for the value. Lid fits well. Easy to clean as other crock pots. Appears to cook well compared to other products. This is perfect for taco nights!

Very Useful
Temperature control took a bit of getting used to as my other chocolate melter had variable temp control. But I love this one because it is so very simple to keep clean, which matters a lot.Slightly smaller than expected but easy to store. And it is easy to manipulate.Recommending this for sure.

Not for melting chocolate…
The description says you can use this for melting chocolate like for dipping fruit or cake pops. Technically it does melt the chocolate but they forgot to include the part where it burns and ruins the chocolate in about 20 minutes even if you’re stirring it.If you’re looking for a simple device to provide chunky brown and yellow speckled white chocolate dip for some cake pops you made using made from scratch red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting then this is definitely for you. If you would prefer smooth melted chocolate that’s not scorched or discolored then I’d recommend using a double boiler or even just a microwave.

No UK plug...
Unfortunately I thought this pot had a UK plug, being sold on Amazon UK, but it doesn't. I had already put water and mild acid mix in the crock pot when I realised the plug was wrong. Unfortunately when I came to empty that out and clean the pot to return, it had started to take off the coating of the pot. I've been using these little crock pots (Rival's Little Dipper previously) for pickling solution for jewellery making for years, and never had that happen before. Makes me think it's a sub standard item and I would ask how safe it is for food...

Great for metalsmiths on a budget
I bought this in a pinch as a pickle pot for metalsmithing (we used this to heat up an acidic solution that cleans up metal after soldering). It works well for this purpose. The one thing I will say is it does get really hot so you don’t want to leave it on for an extended period of time. I turn it on for just long enough yo pickle the piece I’m working on and then turn it off. If you’re using it for what it’s made for.. it might actually be too hot. Definitely too hot for something like chocolate fondue. Heat control would be nice but works great for the price.

Great to heat dips. Almost too hot.
Heats up well. I like the “on”light. Gets too hot though and need to unplug so dips don’t burn after 45 minutes.
