I bought this remote to replace the original remote of my Olevia TV, which had an annoying issue with the power button. More than 50% of the time the power button failed to turn on or off the TV. I wasn't sure if this problem was within the TV or within the remote. Therefore, I took a risk by buying this replacement remote, but it was worth doing since the price is very reasonable (just $9.95). I found at Best Buy a standard replacement remote made by Sony that claims to support Olevia TVs, but it was selling for more than $20 + tax.This replacement remote is entirely identical to the original one (you can't tell the difference, except for a few scratches on the original one) and all the functions work perfectly. I was so impressed that I decided to purchase a second one to keep as a backup, just in cases I have another remote-related issue in the future. As time goes by, it will probably become very difficult, or perhaps impossible, to find another replacement remote that looks identical to the original one. The second replacement remote also works perfectly. My expectations were met.

Well, after 12 years my original remote can only turn on off, nothing else works, it's been on the decline the last 2 year, so I guess the remote life span is only around 10 year. The new exact same one I received works beautifully and I guess it will be great for the next 8-10 years like the last one which is good enough since I plan to replace my current TV within 5 years or so. 5 stars.

I wanted to repair my original remote, the brain chip finally died, little by little over 15 years, but I wasn't able to find the component I needed so I had no option but to order an original replacement. My Olevia TV has been great, wish they were still in business. Really glad I found this because I think this TV will run another 15 years. 😁

For Our original remote which died. I didnt even think to look for it on Amazon until my son suggested. worksheet did. Inserted batteries, works seamlessly. Very satisfied with purchase.

Just like the original, and at a great price. We have been using "universal" brand X replacement for a while because replacement of original was much more expensive. These worked OK, but had limited functions, some of which still worked on the original but were seldom used much. Great to have all the functions again in one device. Very pleased with this.

We still have the same problem, but it is with the tv, not the remote. The tv will not turn on or off with any remote, but will respond to all other con trols when it is turned on and warmed up. The remote seeems to work fine.

Put batteries in and it worked for my Olevia 532-B12 without having to program it. Works great!
