Skyline Furniture Roslyn Double Arm Tufted Chaise Lounge, Buckwheat Velvet

Came in two separate boxes, which UPS delivered at two separate times. Gave me several hours of wondering if all I was going to get were the arms and the feet.But the second box came, and even without pix I could have figured out how to assemble. Probably would go a lot quicker with 2 people.Assembly is easy. Stitching on the fabric of the couch had some obvious mistakes. Holes cut for the insertion point of the bolts were off center. Most obvious defect in mine is that the arms do not 100% match up in decorative stitching. There is more stuffing in one than the other. I doubt anyone using it will notice, but since I put it together, I got a good long look.Not so cosmetic flaw was the long split in one of the wooden supports in the couch itself.That being said, the pool velvet color is great. I'm not planning on doing any rough housing on it, no kids in the house, so I think it will last just fine. I would say that it is overpriced for what you get, but it's a pretty little thing and will do what I want it to do. Would not recommend for households with any rambunctious members (dogs or kids). Sits comfortably, haven't tried laying on it yet, but cushioning is adequate without being too squishy for seating.

I've been after this little sofa for years. I finally bought it, but am very disappointed. It's like sitting on a piece of plywood. Not only is it hard and uncomfortable ,but the seat slopes and you end up with your underpants wedged up your bum by the end of an evening. I spent two months sitting on the floor waiting for this thing to arrive, and now that it's here, I still sit on the floor. It makes a good and decorative backrest. The cat likes to sit on it sometimes.

I was very excited about receiving my item. WOW! I could not believe that Skyline Furniture would sell anything like this. Staples were EVERYWHERE! Tears and rips in the fabric where the screws were located, which would lead up to a "SOFA GONE WORST THAN IT WAS WHEN RECEIVED!" The back of the back rest had a piece of cardboard as thin as a shoe box sitting in the middle. The cardboard was sitting in the middle, not covering the entire back, but in the MIDDLE. WHY? Not to mention the back was closed with VELCROW. The fabric in the back was loose where the fabric was wrinkled. What a let down! The only good thing about it was that the AMAZON representative was very helpful and I am getting my money back. I think the AMAZON representative felt bad because he could hear the disappointment in my voice. I was really looking forward to this item and it would have really looked great in my home. If you want this item, I recommend that you print out the picture and hang it on your wall because the real item is a JOKE!

Purchased this as "Used- Like New" through Amazon Warehouse. Here's the seller review I posted: Absolutely disgusting! Only the legs & arms arrived in improperly taped ordinary wardrobe box with no protective paper or bubble wrap. The back & seat MISSING. The one arm I pulled out of the box was pilled and had long dark hairs on it! Utterly disgusting! $421.02 for this experience?! Horrid. Return/Refund.Also this was after the shipping was delayed & I had to ring about that.When they failed to meet the first ship date Warehouse Deals put a second (2nd!) hold on the $421.04 wiping that account out & throwing everything into chaos.Answer: "nothing we can do, it'll eventually drop off your account."Not at all helpful.Another 40 minutes on the 'phone with my bank saying Amazon had to get in touch with them for anything to happen.I took more time out of my day to drive to my bank and make a deposit.Fun!Not impressed.I'd thought Amazon would send me a new hairless! replacement for same price as a courtesy for the hassle- hiring someone to bring it upstairs (& down to return), having to touch something so disgusting, wondering if it has bedbugs, over three (3!) hours on several 'phone calls about the darn thing!- but only a refund issued thus far.And I still have to hire someone to take it back downstairs.Charming.As to the quality of the pieces shipped? Looking past the pilling, bits, marks, and hair- it is a pretty shade of ivory and the pieces are heavy, legs nicely turned.Has enough going for it that I'd have liked to have same-price replacement sent out in order to finish the design.Pity Amazon can't get it right.Think I'll buy it from Target (Pierre Tarjay) or Urban Outfitters (UO).See fainting couch.What a waste of time!If Amazon fixes the mess I'll add on to this review.Good Luck with Your Purchase!Update: another hour on 'phone tonight. It's legs are very poorly designed and very weak and wobbly. Not safe to use. More of a decoration chair than a usable useful functional one.

I love it!! EXCEPT, where's my hardware? I waited weeks, which I knew and was ok with until i finally receive the second box. It says hardware inside...but there's no hardware...so now I just get to look at it....in pieces.....please make this right!

Although it took a little while to finally receive this settee when it arrived I was extremely surprised to see how beautiful it was. I love the shantung silk and the quality of the construction. The settee was very easy to put together my only negative is I received one nut that is the wrong size and will have to go to a hardware store to find another of the appropriate size. Other than that it's well worth the wait and the cost.
