The instructions show you building from the top down so I had to turn it upside down to physically build it, took me longer than anticipated due to redoing the plastic inserts to ensure they were correctly placed, as more than one way they could go, note, ensure you have the hole up to put the feet into. Make sure you push the rods in as far as they will go and straighten rack as you go. If you wear ladies shoes around a size 5 I’d say you can get approx. 30 pairs shoes in. I bought black shoes bags from Amazon with a see through tip and I have put 2 pairs of ballet shoes/sandals in each bag. The cover ties to the frame in 3 places at the front. Zips down or roll up and secure with Velcro fastenings on the cover. I think black looks best and will look the cleanest with time. The fabric on the shelves is a wipe clean surface they are dark grey. I am storing my sewing machine on the bottom which will weight it down too, although it is sturdy enough. I have taken the back feet off so the rack leans slightly back and does not need securing to the wall due to my carpet along the skirting board. Some reviews say not well made but this is fine.

Brought for shoes that don't get used much. Put in utility room, out of the way .Yes it's frame is flimsy but once all together a little sturdier. Dont think it would do for everyday shoes with family pulling them in and out. Was easy to assemble once I realised the joints were left and right.Took couple of hrs as not a great diy fan.On the whole good price for what I needed it for.

I ordered beige but got a sandy colour with white shelving material (not as picture). Not what I wanted and the cover ripped when putting on. It took so long to put together and is the right size so kept but disappointed in the colour and the fact it ripped when putting on as material is so thin. The instruction could be cleared! I have to push it back together nearly daily!

Great shoe organiser, saved a lot of space for us. All our shoes boots and flip flops are now properly organised. Worth of money.

I found this quite easy to put together. It fits a surprising number of shoes, boots and wellies and the top is sturdy enough to support another row of shoes. It doesn’t look that great but has saved us a lot of room in our hallway and looks neat.
