Trader Joe's Organic Raw Honey 16 Ounce

It's sweet and lip-smacking delicious.

I am really picky about my honey I don't like bad tasting or cheap honey by cheap I mean poor quality.This is a wiped honey or it looks like it when u get it. The picture needs work such as a picture of the honey or something.This honey has a very mild smell but the smell is not really flowery smell and the taste is mild to just like the honey I used to get from my husband grandfathers bee farm in Germany which that was organic top quality wiped honey really good stuff.This honey is pretty think so if u wont it for anything other than hot tea u need to warm it up first don't cook it just get it warm.I like to put the honey I'm going to use in a heat safe bowl then worm it in the microwave for about 30 minutes or just put what ur going to use in a container then in a sunny warm place for about 30 or so minutes I do that when I plan on using it later that day but I don't do that to the whole jar.

This was my first Raw Honey purchase so I chose Trader Joe's because they have a good reputation. I loved it. My issue was that it is a product of Mexico. I will purchase more local honey because I have heard that local honey helps with pollen alergies which I suffer from. I can also get it cheaper from my local health food store. I have not found one locally that taste quite as good or has as good of a texture as the Trader Joe's brand though. It is an awesome product. Just a little expensive and not local, so if that does not bother you the this is the honey for you.

Melts into tea well, great flavor

I don't live near a trader joes therefore I have to pay extra to order online. I was not disappointed in the quality of this raw honey. I don't use it for consumption, but for DIY beauty products such as facial masks, scrubs, lotions, etc. This is very high quality honey with amazing healing and moisturizing benefits. It mixes very well with all of my products, and has a natural sweet taste when added to my DIY lip balm. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!I do wish half the expiration date was not rubbed off (picture attached). It has the year of expiration as 2019 but not the month/day.

I take a half a tsp. a day and also use it in tea! Love it!

I'd never tried raw honey before this, and I don't think I'm going back to squeeze bottles anytime soon. The flavor is much stronger than "normal," but it's the thick, grainy texture that won me over. It melts wonderfully, but sometimes I just like to eat a bit by itself- it's as sweet and flavorful as candy.In addition to the taste, I'd definitely recommend this brand for the price and size. I got mine months ago and it's not even a quarter empty.

The sole reason I gave this product only four stars is because it is not LOCAL honey. It is an excellent product. However, the most beneficial organic raw honey is that which you buy the closest to where you live. Local honey would have been gathered from flowers that cause local allergies.
