This appears to be a good well insulated extension cord.However, the description here states indoor/outdoor use, but the package is labeled “indoor use only”!I am not an electrician or an electrical engineer, so I don’t know what qualifies an extension cord for outdoor use. The only thing that I can gather is that the label show indoor use only. I bought the cord for outdoor use and based my decision to purchase on the description.I still plan on using it outside, but in a covered area. I am irritated, though.

This extension cord is dangerous! The first time I used it, I noticed a low hum coming from a random point along the cord. As I unplugged the item from the cord, some small sparks came from the connection point. Now I'm scared to use it since it shows all the signs of a serious fire hazard. Unfortunately, this cord was for a specific project that I was unable to begin until now, and the return period has expired. So I'm stuck with a dangerous and useless extension cord.Needless to say, I highly recommend AGAINST buying this product!

It is exactly what it is described to be. I realized I needed 2, so I bought similar one from Walmart for about a buck cheaper. This was far superior in quality. Really sturdy feel to it. I use them both outside and the Walmart one had bite marks (Rats? Squirrels? Weird neighbor?) with exposed wire. This one had bit marks too but no exposed wire.

I am very pleased with this Electes 3 prong grounded 15ft extension cord. In my application it is important for me to have a compact solution. I only needed 2 outlets making this a great solution. Even more is the flat angled plug letting me put my cabinet right next to the wall – plug-bulge getting in the way.The cord is definitely heavy duty and well made. I expect it will last in my light duty application as long as needed and after that repurposed for some other extension cord need.I’m very pleased with this 3 prong extension cord. The angled/flat plug definitely exceeded my expectation (why don’t all extension cords have this??) and that gets 5 stars from me.

I use this every Friday. Our stupid classroom has only a few outlets along the walls, and every student is required to have a laptop to view slides, do case studies, and take exams. Not everyone has a 10 hour battery on their notebook computer, so I ended up buying one of these.It works. No problem so far (couple months in). I wish the outlets were spread apart a little bit, since some of the Macbook charging bricks can take up a lot of room. But at this price point, can't complain too much.

These extension cords are a terrific deal my local hardware store didn't have any twenty feet extension cords for less than $20 so I bought two of these and it was still less than $20. I definitely highly recommend these they appear to be made up really well and they run a space heater without the cord itself heating up which is a good sign that this is a quality cable. I would definitely buy more stuff from this brand they're cheap and built really well.

I wanted a more permanent solution to our Christmas lights this year but I needed an outdoor extension cable with at least three connections. I also needed one that was white. That's harder to find that you would think. This one hit the spot! The plug will remain permanently outside. We haven't had any rain or snow yet but the plug is mostly sheltered and I'm expecting that it should hold up for several seasons. It seems very durable and well made.

I actually didn't realize how heavy-duty this cord was until it arrived. It was thicker and heavier than I had been expecting, but unless weight and stowability are major factors for you that's certainly not a bad thing. While I'm not personally a fan of the flat wall plug, it ended up fitting perfectly where I had to plug my cable in and I was glad for it. This is a solid extension cord that should provide years of use.
