Doctor told me that "Ice is my friend" for my sore elbows but I had a heck of a time applying ice bags and other inconvenient treatments until I found these. They allow me to have the ice treatment on and continue to do other things. Previously I had to sit in a chair and stare at the wall as I held an ice pack on for 20-30 minutes - not fun or productive. As I type this review, I have one on each elbow and this allows me to work an ice at the same time. I know - I am supposed to use the elbow less to let it rest. How many of us has the time to do that? ;-)I like the soft gel, which does not freeze and remains soft so it is not a hard surface against your injured area and you don't have to deal with the mess of ice bags sweating or leaking. Comes with sleeves so you can protect your skin from freezing - any shirt/sock/etc. would do but may be more bulky and then you need to be careful of the size you order. I have 10" - 12" forearms/elbows and the Medium fit nicely with the provided sleeves. They were a bit tight when I put them over a fleece (when the weather was a bit colder) so I purchased the large but they may be too big - will keep them around for knees if necessary.I like these so much I am ordering another set to keep at work so I don't forget them and have a set at home. The right price as well. Have not tried them hot as I mostly need cold for the inflammation in the elbows.

The best ice packs ever. They are alot colder than a normal one and soft which makes it easy to get it wrapped around injury much better. I took my mother to physical therapy and was waiting on her. The therapist noticed my arm was really hurting me (after surgery 8 days earlier & having 2 rods put thru my wrist) and she went and got her roll on ice pack and put it around my cast. I'm serious, the pain stopped within 5 minutes and the cold lasted for a full hour. After taking it off, the pain stayed away for about 45 minutes. I wrote down the name and found them on amazon and ordered 4 - the small, med, and large and the large flat pad. Best thing I've ever stumbled on! I definitely recommend them - YOU WILL LOVE THEM!

I had foot surgery and was told to ice it several times a day to help alleviate the swelling. I purchased two of these upon the advice of my physician. This is THE best product ever for this purpose! It ices the entire radius of the foot...not just the top or bottom. It rolls on easily, which was important due to the sensitivity of the top of my foot where the incision is. I liked these so well that I purchased one for my husband's knee and he loves it also. Absolutely I would recommend this Torex product to anyone. Even now...six months after surgery... I still experience some swelling and keep an extra one of these at work so I can have it when I need it.

I had bought FOUR of these. Three of them got leaks after a short while, and I had to throw them away. One is still holding up. I don't use them frequently, nor do I use them as heat packs - only as cold packs, and I keep them in the freezer, which is very mild usage. So really, there was no good reason for these things to break other than poor quality of the seams on the product.They were good before they started leaking, so I am giving them two stars instead of one.

This ice/hot pack is great. It was recommended by my foot/ankle specialist and used during my physical therapy to rehab a foot injury. The cylinder shape makes it easier to apply cold/heat as you can slip your foot up into the middle. The shape is also good for hand and upper arm/elbow areas. Sure beats trying to wrap flat packs around the foot. The cylinder design is great!

This product does what it says it does and works awfully well. I find it VERY cold when icing my whole knee so I don't understand another reviewer's complaint that it's not cold enough. It is totally possible that I'm a big wuss.The membrane enclosing the blue gel to this product does, however, seem somewhat delicate. I have been using it gently and keep it in a bag when it's in the freezer so it doesn't accidentally get nicked by something. No leaks yet, though.

This cold pack has been great for my elbow pain. I like it because it ices the entire joint and I can continue to type as I wear it. The included compression sleeve can be positioned to also wrap around the outside of the pack to keep it in place. No more tying kitchen towels around a gel pack trying to keep it on my elbow. It also stays cold for a long enough time that I can ice both elbows without having to refreeze it between. Unlike other reviewers, I haven't had any trouble with the freezer pouch, though I don't bother trying to seal it shut.

Well, yeah, it's a cold pack, so it should be cold. Stays that way as long as I want it to, but I could imagine people saying it doesn't stay cold enough long enough. And it stays in place on my elbow surprisingly well, even while walking around. Make sure to dry it before you re-freeze it or the condensation it collects will freeze it closed.
