Hook 'n' Stroll

I'm sure you've seen the giant carribeaners (mommy hook) that's supposed to "help" hold your bags - i thought long and hard between that and this hook - and made several trips to the store to weigh my options - never leaving with anything until late one night I was on amazon and wanted to late night shop.Why did I pick this over the mommy hook - one reason - it's meant to be secured in place! It's like having a loose bra strap - your bra still fits but pulling up and tugging on that strap a million times over the course of the day is no fun. That's essentially the mommy hook - if your stroller's handlebars are thin - then maybe that would be helpful but mine is relative thick so i knew the mommy hook would just look awkward - and most likely slide to the side. And if you're power shopping - your kid is fussy and over tired - do you REALLY want to be finagling with the stupid hook to open it and hang your bags on it? Um, no thanks. (that's actually what sold me on the hooks - the easy of just hanging my bags off it w/o having to open/close anything)I have each hook secured 1/3 of the way from each edge of the stroller handle bar (I have a full cross bar - peg perego aria) - I like that if i have a heavier bag, it will distribute the weight across the handles (which the mommy hook can't do unless i get 2 hooks). I like that the velcro is easy to remove so i can store the hooks in my stroller organizer when not in use.The velcro isn't some cheapy velcro - it's pretty close to industrial strength b/c it took some effort to unhook the straps - which makes me happy - so i know it's not going to pull off easily with the slightest cargo. When the hooks are strapped on - it doesn't budge.Obviously - don't put too much weight on this hook - not b/c the hook can't handle it - but b/c it can tip your stroller over =)

I needed stroller hooks for our City Mini stroller to hang my Ju-Ju-Be Right Back backpack on, but I didn't want to pay for the Ju-Ju-Be stroller straps (especially since reviews said they were hard to unhook). These Velcro right onto the handle bar, and can be adjusted as close or far out as needed. I love that the hooks swivel in any direction making it easy to hang my diaper bag on & quickly take it off. I just have to be careful about leaving my bag hanging on the back of the stroller when my son is not riding in the stroller. It makes it really heavy in the back & tips over. I usually pull the diaper bag off & set it in the seat when he's not riding in the stroller to balance the weight.I first used these hooks last month on vacation in New Orleans. We had to quickly load & unload the stroller to ride the streetcar--and the hooks made it easy to do so. Also, they do not get in the way when folding up our stroller. Definitely a great (& cheaper!) alternative to the Ju-Ju-Be stroller straps.

I have a double stroller that has no cup holders. I am also unable to hang things on the handles of the stroller, so I bought these with hope I can hang light shopping bags or something. Well, my expectations were exceeded. I am able to hang my very heavy diaper bag on one with numerous shopping bags on the other. Before getting these, I would carry my bag, or put stuff in the seat that no one was sitting in. This makes like MUCH easier. Totally recommend. :)Update 6/13/2010: I took away one star because one of the hooks just broke. I'm gonna try to super glue it, but it's probably not gonna work. Now, still 4 stars because I totally overused it and put more weight on them then the weight limit.

These stroller hooks are the fourth brand I have owned, and are FAR superior to the others! Because of the velcro, they actually stay in the position you attach them in, and they can hold a LOT of weight. In addition to the usual shopping at the mall or the grocery-store, where I use the hooks for shopping bags or sometimes a shopping basket, I put them to a more rigorous test: a plane trip. They performed beautifully! Not only did I not have to worry about the hooks falling off the stroller while it went through security, but they also survived the stroller being gate-checked. Also, I was able to hang my carry-on bags from the stroller so I had my hands free while pushing it (which I do NOT recommend you do unless you have a large stroller that won't tip).Overall, I am very happy with these, and highly recommend purchasing them.

I bought these because my Britax stroller did not have any type of hooks or much space on the bottom of the stroller to put my diaper bag or any bags. These hooks are just perfect for when you do light grocery shopping, go to the mall, farmers market, i.e. I have balanced a bunch of stuff on them and I feel like they hold a lot of weight. You be the judge!Note:-They are held on by Velcro. I have had these hooks for a few months now and the Velcro is holding up GREAT! I never remove them, they always stay on my stroller and are never in the way.- I would not recommend holding a diaper bag because of the awkwardness that will happen where you will be pushing on the back of the stroller.

So, if your say in Spain and you don't speak the language that well and you just bumbled your way through the grocery store for the first time with a 3 year old and a 11 month old, accidentally spoke Japanese half the time because that's where you just came from, and are really proud of yourself for being able to use your huge reusable shopping bags to pack up all your really heavy food in...well then DON'T HANG THE REALLY HEAVY BAGS ON THE HOOKS. They might just turn out to be heavier than both your children put together. This game of see saw ends a bunch of Spanish people looking at you like, "Ye gods. How did that woman figure out how to procreate in the first place?". Bravo hooks, your amazing, I need counter weights for you!

These hooks are great, the Velcro is really strong to hold them in place even with really heavy bags on.

Fits my Oyster Max pram and is amazing. Has plenty of room to fit my keys, big wallet, diapers and things for changing and toys all at the same time. It also doesn't take up much room when my pram is folded away. It also doesn't slip down or wiggle out of place, which is why I bought it in the first place.

Easy to fit and use. The hooks rotate so you can adjust them to the best angle for what you want to hook on or out the way when folding the buggy down. They seem strong, I have been using them a few weeks now and they haven't broken. They come in a pack of two and I have found having two of them very useful.

I love my clips i had a different style before but the foam came off and it slipped about. These clips stay put!
