Not a bad combination lock
Good lock in general for the price and the job it needs to do desk draw / cupboard exe but the code alignment in the numbers reals is not ridged enough for my liking it’s a bit sloppy hit and miss when coding in, but I’m a locksmith so I’m more predigested than others might be, it is easy to install for DYI er

Work well, simple to install and use
Absolutely no issues with these at all. The combination turns relatively smoothly and the barrel of the lock itself is well oiled and smooth to rotate as well. The instructions for the locks are in the Amazon product description page - it would have been nice for a leaflet of instructions to have been included with the locks, but hardly a big issue at all. Very easy to change the default combination to one of my choosing with the included pins. Recommended.

Being able to use the item purchased
They arived locked, without showing a code number so that I cannot operate them or set my own combination. Totally useless without knowing the opening code. Unless you can inform me of the codes I will be returning them. VERY dissatisfied.

Can be locked closed and open too
I bought these to secure a cupboard. It was much better value getting 2 vs 1.They are pretty easy to install (but they do have to be disassembled slightly for fitting). As long as you unlock them with the default code listed in the description first, was 000 in my case, then its easier when you come to put in the hole you drilled, as you can check the orientation with the reset hole in the case matching the reset button.The instructions tell you to drill a certain size hole. Thats fine if you really tighten the nut and add a touch of glue during install inside the hole. If you want it properly secure, it's probably best drilling a smaller hole and filing out to match the shape of the lock barrel.The lock can be installed to allow it to latch at 12/3/6/9 o'clock positions too.I didn't realise at purchase, but the lock allows you lock it open and closed. This is really useful in the case you might want to have a cupboard sometimes unlocked, not have it accidentally locked, and want to hide the combination when it is unlocked.
