I am happy with this mail box . So far it has worked well for us. It looks good. There is a minor issue that we had to fix but it was easy to do. The mail box lid as a little too much "wiggle room" and would get slightly out of alignment when closing over the box opening. We just added a thin washer in the space between the box and the lid on each side. Now it opens and closes perfectly every time.

This is a very nice mailbox; however, there are no nuts to secure the top. The top simply has holes that fit on screws from the side of the box. Almost every time the top is lifted, one side or the other slips off the screw. We had to buy nuts to put on the end of the screws to keep this from happening. There are other, less critical screws without nuts that we chose to put on to maintain the integrity of the box.

Great mailbox for this price!

This is a nice, basic, well-made mail box. It's so big you don't need the magazine hooks, but it's not overly bulky. It has enough detail to make it attractive and not boxy. The color is more bronze than copper, but it's not the almost charcoal gray pictured here. Lastly, while cast aluminum, the casting is on the thin side which makes it surprisingly light. Don't misunderstand, the box is very sturdy and should last a lifetime. The weight savings makes it easier to mount. My only quibble is that the lid clangs. I had to add strips of foam under the lid. While I see it as a lack, perhaps it's a feature - you know when the mail carrier has arrived.Update - After using this for a while, it holds EVERYTHING without looking overly bulky ... mail, magazines, even small packages. You don't need the hooks. The only down side is you have to fish around inside to make sure you get everything out.Once you add a bit of foam under the lid, this is a fantastic box!

Great, solidly built mailbox. Looks even better in person. The hooks on the bottom are not attached which I like. We chose not to attach them because I like the look without them better. Very happy with this purchase.

Only problem was screws that hold the two magazine racks were too short. Also take the back of the mailbox off and secure to wall first. Then put the box back on

sturdy and light weight mailbox, easy to install. the lid hinge has a bit too much side-to-side movement and cannot close if not perfectly lined up in the middle, so you need to insert a washer on each side which fixes the problem.

Nice look with clean lines, was easy to install and is working well, also large enough to hold small packages and large mailing envelopes,
