Being well informed is never a bad idea
First and foremost, this book is so thorough well researched, I've learned a few things I didn't know previously, and I have a stack of baby books that's almost hip high! I wish I'd known of this book before I had my daughter. The text is straightforward, worded so I can understand it, and that you can skip from one chapter to another or back to the beginning, without having to read all the in-between just shows how tailored the information is for the woman and situation. I especially enjoyed the information included about more specific birth conditions, which I thought would help calm the nerves of mothers in unique situations, even though I am not a mother facing any of those concerns. This book really helped me to understand the biology of why my body didn't bounce right back to being thin after giving birth, even though I didn't gain that much weight and thought I had a pretty uneventful pregnancy. Its not just fat! Is more than just an excuse, it is the truth! Getting used to this fact has helped me understand the importance of a program like Baby Bod. Mothers have to change the way they look at themselves before they can accept the changes they have or are about to undertake. There are a number of facts that new mothers should know, but aren't spoken about in polite circles. Here, facts are given in plain English, without any chance of misinterpretation to occur, which helped me feel less alone about coping with normal, gross things. Helpful worksheets that can be printed and shared with doctors pre- and post-natal ensures all questions or concerns are addressed and can be followed up on. From self-care techniques that speed recovery to exercise plans with diagrams that show how to burn away those stubborn excess baby pounds, this book has it all. Every mother should read this, no matter how many children they have or long its been since their last child. I will be gifting this to all my mother friends.

Good program
The information in here was top notch. Admittedly I haven't started the program yet. I found some bits tedious to read because the author, IMO, overly repeated safety information but it was probably wise of her to do so.

Yes you can get your Fab Body Back!
Whether you are expecting a baby, recently had one or now have a 1-year-old child, I highly recommend you take a look at this book. Not only can it help you get that pre-pregnancy "bod" back, but Marianne Ryan, PT, OCS acts takes you by the hand, explaining what's happened to your body in a way that is easy to understand. She's very encouraging, so if you've felt like you don't quite know where to start, let this book be one of your motivating tools.A lot of women wonder how (or if!) they will get their pre-pregnancy body back. Being pregnant is an exciting time, but there are some physical challenges that some don't think about or expect. Your tummy may be extra "fluffy" or you could have a leaky bladder. Or even have uncomfortable lower back pain. What I appreciated this book most of all, because not only is the author a knowledgeable expert in her professional field, but she speaks from personal experience. As a new Mom who had given birth, she went through back pain & a leaky bladder, so it is clear that she fully understands that getting your pre-pregnancy bod back is not "just" about those six-pack abs or wearing cute clothes! She actually created this Baby Bod Program to first help herself heal from childbirth and then now shares it with others. How great that she does! With this workout, you also can start it at just about any time you feel is important to you - whether that is during pregnancy, the day after you've had your baby or even months after your child was born. I really like also how flexible it is, so it is super easy to fit right into your schedule. It's a 12-week program, so you can feel encouraged that you'll see results soon too!

IT WORKS!
Absolutely thrilled with this method. I am 50 and no more leaking after 3 weeks (I only did the preliminary phase - posture alignment, belt, breathing and massages). My belly is still there, but I understand now what is the problem and I will proceed with the exercises (soon I hope). The book itself has repetitions and could be organized better, but who cares? It works!
