I have used these for two of my tattoos now, really great!

I wish I'd known about this for all my previous tattoos! Excellent piece of kit for healing your fresh ink quickly, hygienically and safely. The photos are taken of Day 3 of getting my new ankle tattoo and my large thigh piece topped up. The 10 sheets were just right, and easy to overlap for the larger piece. Super easy to apply, and the bandage really does say put! No instructions in the package, so I googled 'Saniderm' and followed the instructions from there. I did remove the bandage after 24 hours, to clean the plasma and rejected ink build up. It was quite tricky, so I removed it in the warm shower, using baby oil. But my new tattoo was perfect underneath, and it didn't pull any ink from the design. My thigh piece is now slightly itchy as it heals, but there isn't any horrid flaky skin or scabbing whatsoever.I used Tattoo Goo soap to clean my tatts, and then applied Tattoo Go balm before dressing with this second skin. Then leave for another 6 days! Done! No messing repeated washing or greasy application of lotions etc. I can wear whatever I want without the balm seeping through and ruining my clothes, or the scabs being pulled off accidentally. I have young children and pets, so it's really important that my fresh ink is fully protected. I had an infection last time (without using this second skin) and it was nasty!Highly recommend this product as part of your post tattoo care!

The media could not be loaded.  I've never used this before and have loads of tattoos already, i thought with this new tattoo being on my hand and being so open that it may be a good idea to try the second skin thing & so far im so impressed it sticks well and it stops the tattoo from stinging too as no air is getting to it you get alot on the roll so I can take off clean and cream my tattoo then reapply a new skin afterwards easily myself, this is def a game changer for me, no more sticking to clothes and bed sheets will def buy again for future tattoos def recommended

I brought this stuff as I was having my hand done and wanted to protect it from knocking etc whilst working and out and about during the healing process, this stuff was like a second skin stuck so well and really kept it clean and covered, easy to removed and not overly painful more bizarre that you’re pulling off something so sticky on a fresh tattoo, 100% recommend this product and will use it for my next ones, I have over 50 tattoos and this stuff healed this one within 4 days, no scabbing or drop outs of black or colour, very happy. It was light and comfy to wear too full motion of hand not awkward and stiff like cling film, first photo shows how good its looks when on x

I bought this because had a tattoo appointment scheduled during vacation in Playa del Carmen Mx. I unfortunately forgot to pack it but, my tattoo artist coincidentally used this product and was kind enough to give me enough to get me through the remainder of my vacation.Perfectly waterproof, adheres well, easy to remove and leaves no sticky mess.I wish they had this product in colors with uv protection so I wouldn't have to wear a shirt while in the water.

Used for a large thigh tattoo as start of a leg sleeve so needed 4 sheets. Mine was an awkward position to apply so my wife, who's thankfully a nurse, stuck it on. I've always previously used just cream but thought I'd try this.You only get one shot at applying so need to have steady hands, 2 people is much easier.Left on for 3 days after removing the initial covering which I left for 24 hours. No leaking over the 3 days, but felt quite tight coming off so was worried it would remove the ink but took it slowly and came off cleanly.No messy sheets/clothes and has so far been healing much quicker than any of my previous tattoos.

The tattoo bandage itself was great! I used it 3 weeks post-inking to wear to the beach since we all know this can be damaging for the tattoo's recovery. It stuck on well and I wish there was a proper instruction sheet, maybe printed on the box or printed out on a piece of paper.On the downside, in my case at least, I wore it for approx. 5 hours before peeling it off in the shower. The bandage didn't peel off any of the tattoo or irritated it. However, it did irritate the other areas that it was covering. It was very itchy afterwards and last about 2 weeks.Overall, it's great but purchase at your own risk.

I’ve used these before in the past for my tattoos and they’re great, tattoos heal a lot faster and more safely than conventional wrap. However, the adhesive can be really hard and slightly painful when taken off but I recommend to use hot soapy (clean) water (best in the shower) and it remove and clean tattoo / wound then. :)
