If your a daily Yerba drinker or you just like a large mate buy this. I bought one that I had to have another for my better half. We both drink yerba daily all day long. I order 30-40 pounds at a time and have be an drinking yerba for over 20 years. This mate is hands down my favorite. Super easy to clean, big volume, the lid actually works with the bambilla (included) and travels well. I recently took it on a thousand mile round trip in a car (done in 24 hours). Oh and boy does it look good! It is a very attractive mate. By two!

The gourd size is prefect as it is comfortable to hold in one or both hands. It is double walled so it keeps the liquid inside warm for quite some time. The bombilla and cleaning brush are good. The sticker on the clear lid of the cup is difficult to remove so use mayonnaise or some kind of food oil to remove it without leaving sticky residue behind. Be careful that you don’t hit your teeth with the bombilla (it is made of steel). If you’re going to take it with you while driving, you may need a cup holder expander.

It has a very high quality feel. It's basically like one of those Yeti tumblers turned into yerba mate gourd style. I an surprised this was only $16.The bombilla works very well and feels just as high quality. The exterior wood pattern is a nice as well. Overall I would recommend this over all others.

a clean and reusable way to try yerba mate, I used to make it like regular tea meaning only a teaspoon or two and it makes a light beverage. The cup allows you to steep a large amount of yerba mate, then add water as desired over time, and when I did this the first day I realized that a larger dose of yerba mate is like crack (well, more like Red Bull), I got super wired and realized that I cannot drink this beverage after noon or I won't sleep well that night.

Definitely keeps the drink hot for a good couple of hours! Love the cover that comes with it but I have to say the round pear shape is extremely inconvenient especially when wanting to take it on road . It doesn’t fit any vehicle cup holders hence it can spill easily.I do wish also that they places some rubber band around the straw opening so nothing ends up over flowing out of it.The shape should be thinner on bottom and maybe bring the roundness to the top so that you can actually take it with you and keep in car.

Nice set. Comes with everything you need for Yerba mate. I add hot water to my loose tea, then add ice. I top it off with water the rest of day. Helps me drink more water.

My Husband needed an efficient cup for his morning Mate. Great modern design, easy to clean, awesome quality stainless steal cup & straw. I even like washing it. Others were a pain. Great Mate drinkers’ gift.

Received the cup and immediately through Yerba in it poured the hot water in and forgot about it for about an hour came back to it and it was still piping hot, holds heat very well nice seal on the lid so spillage is controlled for on the go use. This cup doesn’t leave my hand for 8+ hours a day, I just top it off with more hot water and sip slowly through out my day.
