These look good without the need to wire
I have been working on improving my property and put in a new deck and a pergola. I wanted to put lights on the pergola but due to the location it would be a major pain running electrical to get to it, I stumbled on these and thought I would give them a shot and they are absolutely perfect for my application. I have the solar cell tucked up above the top of the pergola so you can't really see it from under and the lights are on the wood slats on top. The Edison style bulbs are very convincing, they look much warmer than some Edison style bulbs I have used in the past (including some I am still using indoors) and the 48ft. length gave me plenty of cable and bulbs to arrange to ensure I could cover the inside "roof" of the pergola. I am happy with this purchase and will likely pick up another set or two this summer for my pool area.

As a heads up, it's 27' pulled TIGHT!
I probably should have gone for a slightly longer model, as the 20' worth of lights + 7' tail leaves little room for allowing them to dip any (made a little extension out of zip ties at one end to accommodate my carport). Once installed, though, they work rather nicely. Thus far, on a clear day, they'll stay running from darkfall to between 4a-5a (and they' don't kick on til it's DARK out). Cloudy/rainy days see them run til maybe 3a. I can actually see under my detached carport now, so yeah. Pleased with them so far, and would consider add'l strings for other outdoor areas.Main note is to make sure you overbuy on required length by a couple feet because there's no room for slack or error in measurement unless you already plan to get creative with zip ties, hooks, plastic chain, or the like. I also suggest pre-charging the panel via USB for a day before putting it up. That way you start with a full battery from the outset. LED will go from red to green to indicate full charge when you do that.

These lights are awesome!
I bought these lights on a whim. I have something similar in my back-yard, just they aren't solar and cost a bit more than these lights did.I was a bit skeptical at first - lower price, LED bulbs, solar and a battery versus my incandescents with a regular AC plug. And that's where I was wrong. These put out more light, are completely self-contained and I have more lighting per foot with these than the lights I previously installed. Lights I purchased from a big-box retailer.I like them. A lot.

Only 3 bulbs working for very first use.
I bought these lights for camping to light up our campsite when we tent camp. Because I knew we would not use them for a few months when the weather got warmer, I checked them immediately upon arrival. At this point, 3 random bulbs did not work, but the company sent me replacement bulbs after I sent photo proof. Of course I checked the new bulbs and all worked well. However, after storing them awaiting our camping trip, only the first 3 bulbs in the line after the solar panel NOW WORK! This is the very first time I have used them and only 3 bulbs work! After inspection, there must be something wrong in the wiring or connection after the 3rd bulb because if I replace a non-working bulb with a working one, it still will not light up. These are way too expensive to have only 3 of 16 bulbs work.

Less than half the bulbs worked
I bought these back in February, but they remained in the box until this weekend, when the weather finally permitted. I charged the the solar panel with a USB cord while hanging the lights. They looked fabulous hanging from my pergola. When the solar panel was fully charged and I plugged in the lights, less than half the bulbs lit up. Unfortunately, the return window has closed, so there is no chance of sending them back. I’m really disappointed, as the bulbs that work are bright and look great; I wish they all worked.

Amazing product!
These lights are super easy to install and look beautiful at night. They are actually really bright and durable. When I received the lights, two bulbs were not working, I emailed support and they were very friendly and fast at resolving my issue. I like that you can charge the lights just in case it was a cloudy day and the solar didn’t get enough sun. I hope these will last me for several years to come.

Came with bulbs burnt out
I ordered 2 sets and between the 2, 6 bulbs were burnt out. I didn’t open them when I bought them, I waited until warmer weather, and now I’m stuck with 2 strands missing bulbs. Wouldn’t recommend. They are great in theory, pretty, and nice size, but they do you no good missing bulbs due to defective sets.

Super pretty for a back porch!
Love that these are solar, no messing around with wires or batteries. I also a huge fan of the soft white light they give off, it sets a nice ambiance for a quiet night on our back porch. I'd recommend trying these over corded anyday!!
