These are great color additions to your collection of ink cartridges. They fit in both my Jinhao pens and offer nice ink color. When switching colors, I recommend you remove the cartridge currently in the pen, then write until that ink runs out. Otherwise, if you remove the current cartridge then replace with a new color without letting the previous cartridge ink run out, the two colors will blend, until the new color starts to show it's color. This would probably not be ideal when switching from dark colors to light colors (or vice versa). Otherwise, great cartridges!

Item arrived quickly and as described. Giving as a gift, therefore will not know its value as a product until I receive feedback from the recipient. Will update review if anything less than expected.

All of the plugs were out of the cartridges which caused them to leak. There was ink everywhere and the cartridges were only half full.

So far I have only used one of the blue cartridges from this pack of mixed colour cartridges, so I can't comment specifically on the other colours. However, the blue is a nice dark blue, the cartridge fitted easily into a Helix Oxford Premium fountain pen, which takes standard international cartridges, and the ink has been flowing nicely. Note that my writing example is on (very) cheap and thin A4 lined refill paper, and the nib on the pen that I used is a medium nib. Note also that the design on the packaging is different from the Amazon listing, but the contents are exactly as described (4 red, 4 green, 4 blue, 3 pink, 3 orange, 3 grey, 3 brown, 3 purple and 3 turquoise cartridges).EDIT: orange cartridge tested now - see photo for results on standard printer paper; It's a little on the pale side for my liking, but it's orange and it flows well.

If you own any jinhao fountain pens (I've got their '250' and their neon green pen), then you may be on the lookout for some compatible cartridges.I've tried these in both of my jinhao pens and they both work fine.You need to press the cartridge in quite firmly and maybe twist the cartridge to get the ink flowing to the nib.I'm not a connoisseur of fountain pens, but I'd recommend these cartridges as an inexpensive way to experiment with different coloured ink.

the cartridges fit, just, and need some persuasion to allow the ink to flow (insert and reinsert to make the pierce hole bigger).The inks themselves are average at best;the colours appear quite dilute (for example the 'dark' red appears more pink than 'ruby' red).For general writing these would be 'ok', but the colours are just not vibrant.Average.

Absolutely great little bundle of coloured ink. The orange and pink are particularly brilliant, but I also love the sepia. Not sure why the manufacturers wouldn't sell every colour separately as well. It's a shame, because you have to keep buying the bundle to get what you like. But it's fun to try them all out, I've even bought more pens to use them all.

I normally just pick up cheap cartridges in discount stores, but I was tempted by these and the colour assortment offered. I'm glad that I tried these - the ink is lovely and flows smoothly, dries quickly without bleeding or feathering, and the colours are attractive and intense.
