Unfortunate design flaws on an otherwise good looking cup
It's a sexy cup but after a couple weeks it's flaws are overwhelming. First thing I noticed was the straw. It might not seem obvious but its ridged as hell. Come at your mouth too fast and you'll chip a tooth. It's not like the plastic straws you're used to so be careful! Also the inner edge of the straw is sharp, if you miss your tooth and ram your lip expect a flesh wound. Potential physical harm aside it's still an awesome cup, just avoid using it with alcohol and you should be alright. On to the next issue.Metallic taste. Either the straw or the cup, or both, is made of a cheap stainless. After the cups been sitting for 10 or so minutes when you take a sip you get a faint metallic taste. It goes away after the initial sip so I'm guessing it's an issue mainly with the straw again. I don't want to taste metal ions or I'd use a steel can as a cup. Since the taste is momentary and mild I still like the cup at this point. On to the most recently discovered negative. This cup is not as sealed as you would expect. I filled my sink with water to let some dishes soak and ended up going to work. I come back some hours later and the cups 'insulated' void between the layers if full of water! What the hell good is that?? None of my Tervis tumblers fill up with water if I leave them in the sink, what gives? I read a another review saying that underneath the foam pad at the bottom there are holes that let water in. Fat lot of good that does, hardly what I'd consider insulated.Overall I'd say it's an alright-ish buy for the $10 price tag but honestly I'm disappointed.

but I don't always need super cold drinks (lukewarm is better for the body anyway)
I've been using it for three days and its basically been the only thing that I've been drinking out of. I read some reviews that the plastic screw part underneath the lid falls off. That hasn't happened with mine, or my boyfriends. It doesn't keep your drink AS cold as a Yeti would, but I don't always need super cold drinks (lukewarm is better for the body anyway), and I prefer the metal straw over Yeti's plastic coffee cup-like lid that you have to turn up to drink.Overall I've said "I love this cup" about 10 times already. It looks nice and clean all the time.If it breaks I'll write another review.

Nice Stainless Steel Tumbler Until the Bottom Came Off
I've been using one of these for a month, and it has worked well. You have to fiddle just a little with the lid when screwing it on, positioning it right and pushing down a little, but it works. I wouldn't consider it top quality, but I'd at least give it a B+ if I had to grade it. A good buy for the price.UPDATE: It has been a fine tumbler, but yesterday after it came out of the dishwasher, I found the bottom had come halfway off and the interior was full of water. I came on Amazon to see if it said it was dishwasher safe, and it says it is. I'm seeing now other reviewers saying the bottom came off. I'm not sure if the bottom was spot-welded or glued. But it's half way up and won't come off the rest of the way, so now the product is unusable.

It looks nice but it's functionality is so so
It's ok. the threaded part of the cap is plastic while the threaded part on the cup is metal ( rounded and sorta flat threading), the cap seems to pop off now after a month of use. I still use it, but I don't hold it by the cap when walking the hallways at work. It does come with an extra metal straw and It is a good looking tumbler. Clean but cap needs some work.

Good cup for the price.
I ordered this then asked the "how does the lid attach and does it leak when sloshed around" question up top. Well I received this tumblr and let me tell you. They must have made improvements because for 10.00$ this is a great cup. The lid is a little tough to screw down but makes a good seal. The cup has not leaked once since I started using it. I had put ice water in the cup and 3 hours later it still had ice in it. The same with coffee. I put the coffee in hot and hours later it was warm. I use the cup all day with no problems. For 10.00$ I say get one.

The best cup!
I bought this cup to put essential oils in my water. Beings I am clumsy and I didn't want glass this was a perfect alternative. It came with 2 straws which I liked. The straws can't be pulled out, it is a great thing to have when you have a 2-year-old. Very easy to clean. You have to make sure you put the lid on it right to ensure that it won't leak if it tips over. I push down and then twist to get it tight. I love this cup and use it all day every day.

It's consistently terrible. But the seller is nice
Ok. So the seller is great. They replaced my terrible cup with another terrible cup. And I forgot to post a review because I took the second terrible cup and set it in a box and just re discovered it when we moved. The inside is and has been nasty looking, so I figured that it maybe will be ok if I washed it. So I scrubbed it a few times and it was still nasty and had a metal taste. So o figured a top rack dishwasher wash on gentle wash wild be ok. But alas, it has died. And won't be coming back as its in my dumpster. Again the seller was great and gave me some tips that would have been helpful for a not terrible cup. I will post pictures so you can see what I mean. I WISH I could find a similar cup that's not horrible. I will continue my search. :)

It works well. My tea stayed warm in it ...
It works well. My tea stayed warm in it for most of the day. I haven't had any problem with spills so far. My only complaint is that since it is stainless steel there are lots of smears that happen on it. That is to be expected however.
