Overall, I like these and they serve their purpose- something shatter-proof to drink water from while at work.PROS: They are insulated, which means that they don't sweat and create a lot of moisture/drippings. They are pretty sturdy, and can take a fall without breaking or chipping. You can drink from them either with a straw or without. The lid has an opening and a lip that makes it just as convenient to drink from them with the lid on without a straw. There is a sliding cover over the opening in the lid, so you can close it if you're driving in the car and want to avoid splashes (of course, you can only close the sliding cover over the hole if you take out the straw first). Another pro is that they are top-rack dishwasher safe, which makes them really convenient to clean. Lastly, I like that these are made in the USA. Overall, these plusses make this a convenient choice for me.CONS: The lids snap on; they do not twist on. Some of the lids are a tighter fit than others, and it can be difficult to remove the lids, particularly if there is still any liquid in the cup and you have to hold it upright. Basically, you sometimes have to remove it by stabilizing it with one arm against your body and prying the lid off with your other hand. A screw-on lid with a silicone gasket would be much easier and would be just as leak-proof.Another con is that the straws are made of a different type of plastic than the clear cup, and they very quickly impart a plastic taste in the water. I began using these cups with stainless steel straws and the plastic taste issue no longer happens. It's great that the straws come with the little caps (you can slide them off and use them with other straws), but I don't like the idea that the plastic is leaching a chemical/plastic taste into the water that I'm drinking.

These are awesome. I have 3 kids and it seems like they are always in and out of my fridge eating and drinking something! that s not a problem so much, but they ALWAYS get different cups cause cant remember who's is who's after they sit them down and walk away. With the different color lids, it has eliminated the confusion. Also good that they are good to carry with us when we go places. I'd suggest getting a set of those little straw cleaner brushes. I bought these for my young kids. They are nice and durable EXCEPT for the straws. My kids have easily destroyed every straw by biting them. BUT on the bright side, the straws didn't break their teeth. These have washed well in the dishwasher and have not faded or warped after several washings. The tumbler is also still clear (not cloudy) after several dishwasher washings. I would purchase again.

These are great for cold drinks, not for hot.

I took a chance on these and have been very pleasantly surprised. The covers snap on tight but are easy to remove with a tab on the back, and I've found that I actually prefer the snap on lids to the screw on ones I used to use. The slide cover for the drinking hole cleans out easily. The plastic is clear (even the colored caps aren't opaque) so its easy to make sure everything came clean. They can be used for hot or cold which is perfect because I had to use two different cup styles before. I plan to buy another 4 of the clear topped ones.

These are the best cups ever. I've had them for over a year and they look new. No streaks, chips or coloration that sometimes comes with plastic. The lids snap on so there is no question as to if the lid is on securely. I usually wash them by hand but have put them in the dishwasher with no problems. If you have kids, this is the way to go.

I have had these cups a few weeks now and although the quality is good they do not keep beverages cold as long as other cups like this. They do fit well in the cup holder and hold up great in the dishwasher.

These have been in my possession for a few weeks. I have used them for cold drinks and found them to be as advertised.
