Blondo Women's Verga Boot

SIZE AND COMFORT. I have slim 13.5" calves and was looking for riding-style boots that would fit snug around the calves. Tried all Blondo boots available on Amazon, including those that had narrow styles, but they all were too wide around the calf. Sent 8 pair back before settling on Verga. With 13.5" calves, the N (narrow) width fits like a glove with tights or leggings, so I am guessing that M (standard) width will be ideal for 14-14.5" calves. Because the material is soft and stretchy, it also stretches nicely and comfortably around skinny jeans. If you have slim calves and are looking for boots with no gaps, this is your model. They wear very comfortably outside and indoors.STYLE. A simple design and the combination of shiny and textured leather makes them very elegant, unique and intelligently understated. I call this "Claire Underwood style", and they will fit her wardrobe perfectly. The only slight downside for me is that they are about 2" shorter of being the perfect knee-high length for a tall person (5'8" and above). They still look fantastic, but in my ideal world they would be 2" taller. If you want a slim and tall (slightly over the knee) boots, go with Blondo Eden.

I like the look of these boots. I wear these boots. But, I honestly have to say that the calf portion is very snug - no tucking in of jeans and I can barely zip up when wearing leggings. The boot does have a tendency to scrunch down when wearing, which gives me the added exercise of pulling them up. I use inserts because of my flat feet, which helps with wearing and walking. The boot is snug but I can wear a not-too-bulky ankle sock. Any other longer sock would not allow me to zip up, even with the stretchy calf. Blondo should take a look at their product again and make the shaft a little longer and a little wider.

Love the fit of this boot. I have a narrow foot and the medium width worked in the ankle area. I wear my boots with leggings and I am also pleased with how they fit in the calf. Most boots have too much space in the calf for me and these fit snug against my leg.If you want to tuck in jeans you may have a problem though . Not sure there is room enough unless you have really thin calves. I also have the Inya Blondo boot in 9 medium. They have more room in the calf to tuck in jeans

I have been looking for nice boots that fit my very slender calves for years, so when I saw these in a shop I was really happy to have found a pair of boots that actually fit me (I ended up ordering them on Amazon because they were cheaper here). The shaft of these boots is elastic so it adapts to the leg. However, as the shaft was pretty tight on me, I really don't think it would fit someone with bigger calves comfortably.The style of the boots is simple and elegant, the material of the shaft looks much better in person than in the picture and is soft and smooth at the same time. The boots are also extremely comfortable and unlike many boots they have a nice rubber sole that does not make a whole lot of noise and cushions well when walking (as far as I could tell from the few steps I took inside).It would have been a perfect boot, if only the shaft had not started sliding down after only a couple of steps in my apartment. I guess because the material is so stretchy and little firm, it just slides down (regardless of the calf-size) and accumulates around the ankles. As the look of these boots is sleek and elegant, the folds that formed around my ankles just looked weird. Also, if you are looking for something that gives support around the ankles, this is probably not your shoe.Had these shoes cost half of what they cost I might have kept them but for 260 Dollars boots just need to be perfect in every way, so they are going back, unfortunately.

I love Blondo boots and I had been admiring this style for several months before ordering them. They were worth the wait! These are beautiful boots and they look great with both skinny jeans and skirts because of the slim fit. The calf of these boots fits very snuggly, but it is stretchy. I have slim legs, so the fit works for me. I ordered the wide width so I could wear thick socks and I'm glad I did. Overall, I could not be more satisfied with this purchase and I have received a lot of compliments on the boots.

I have 13' calves and was surprised at how "tightly" these boots hugged them. Only took a few minutes before my legs adjusted and I realized just how comfortable the boots are. I ordered a 9.5N, but had considered a 10 because I am pretty close to needing that size these days. Am happy to report that these are the perfect length and width. The rubber sole and heel mean that these will be comfortable walking boots. Beautiful boots and great quality. Looking forward to wearing them all winter!

Love these boots. Saw them last year when I was in Sonoma, CA and didn't buy them because of the price. I had thought about them for quite a awhile after I passed them up and never found never found anything comparable. The price on Amazon saved me $100.00 and I am thrilled to own them. I am sure I will get many complements on them. I also love the fact that I can wear them in the rain! They are so stylish!

I am so pleased to find a pair of boots with a narrow shaft. For this reason, I am willing to overlook the fact that the boots are not narrow enough around my ankles. I have very skinny calves, skinny ankles, and skinny feet.
