Very well made shelves! Nice size, price & quality.Solid mounting bolts. I recommend supporting the shelf with a small bungee cord underneath, so they won’t get wobbly over time (optional).(My Savic Plaza cage has a little bit of flex on the sides, is not welded. The bungee cords I bought separately make it solid).Tip: save the rubber grommets included & put them back on the screws after installation!

I've been looking for something sturdy and long enough for my Rhinelander bunny. He likes to stretch out and didn't have a raised platform big enough. It's great that 2 of these come in one package. I mounted them next to eachother to create a long shelf. He was cautious about getting on it at first because each platform leans down a little with his weight. I think he may be pushing the weight limit for one platform, although I'm not nervous about it breaking. As he has been willing to stretch out and distribute his weight across both platforms, he seems increasingly comfortable with his new bed. I am happy with the size and sturdiness of these platforms.

It has good material but the size is too small

These ledges will work for all size hamsters, rats, and mice. Gerbils perfer under ground and would chew the wood. Ledges are very wide and gives space. Safe wood for hamsters is very hard to find. Most ledges are made from pine or natural wood which turns out to be pine. Always make sure there is a washer on either side of the bars when screwing this platform on. Worth the money!

These large ledges are just as great and sturdy as the smaller ones, and withstand my 700g chinnie with no problem. And the lip that mounts to the cage keeps the poop from flying out. They're also extremely well priced. I am super happy to have found these! I am on my second order and will be purchasing more in the future!!!

These are very well-made shelves/ledges for inside a small pets cage. These products are made solidly of wood, sanded smoothly, and have sturdy books and wing-nuts. I have shown this product in pictures with a can, so you can see the approximate size. I have purchased other brands of wood shelves, and this product is superior to any other brand I have tried. I have a pet dove and thought this would be a great place for him to perch. I was right! I ended up putting the other one in my other bird's cage and she likes it as well. I think it gives their feet a break from always grabbing onto regular perches. I like that its natural wood and isn't dangerous to them either. They're nicely sized too. Great product at a great price!
