EcoAuto Center Console Latch for Toyota Tacoma - Gray – 2005-2012 – OEM-58910AD030B0 – with Screwdriver & 2 Screws Included

This was the perfect solution to a broken latch. I thought I'd have to buy the whole console cover at the very least. Installation was easy and the included stubby screwdriver was a nice touch. There are a couple of screws that need a shorter screwdriver. This one was of good quality and had a reversible bit. They could have gone with something cheaper so kudos for going with quality. The color match isn't perfect... the grey is just a shade or two lighter. On the other hand, this latch is somewhat recessed and inconspicuous so anyone who might notice would have to be looking for that (and focused on something completely irrelevant!). Finally, the price was very reasonable.

Nothing is more irritating than the console latch breaking! Super annoying to have to drive either with it stuck open or trying to keep it closed by jury-rigging something or keeping you elbow on it.This replacement latch works perfectly! Even though the description is specific for 2005-2012 Toyota Tacoma, I took a chance that it would work on my 2014 Tacoma. NO PROBLEM. Simply take out 5 screws that keeps the underside cover on. Remove two screws holding the old broken latch in place. Install the new latch with the two new screws provided with the kit. Snap the underside cover back into place and reinstall the 5 old screws. Perfect! Everything works! And the vendor ships the parts to you overnight. And provides you with a screwdriver. For Ten Bucks the problem is solved. Highly recommend.

First impression, this latch felt and looked more cheaply made than the original, so time will tell how it holds up. Also, the plastic is slightly lighter grey.However, for 11 dollars and 10 minutes of installation time, if it breaks in a few years than money well spent.The part works well, it fit perfectly, and it functions as it should. For the money, I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend this product.

Was easy to install, however the color is lighter than the color of the console

It fits perfect, functions well and I got a screw driver too. Add that to the 30+ I have.

Works great got rid of that annoying open console. Colors a little off but who cares !
