Raw Honey Local California US Choice – Sage Honey - 24 oz

I have been longing to try honey from conifers versus flower blossoms, and decided to go for it.This is quite different (in my opinion, in a good way). The consistency is very thick and 'stringy,' and more like caramelized sugar than honey. The taste is something that I cannot quite put a finger on, yet deliciously different. It's also not as sweet at most honey that I have had. I never met a honey that I didn't have a hard time putting the spoon down, and this is no exception. Different is not necessarily bad, and what makes it so different is what makes it so intriguing.I am going to try other conifer honey varieties, such as Breitsamer Honig's Forest Honey. It's definitely not your basic honey variety, which is a good thing.

BEWARE: Your honey may come completely crystallized. I had this issue and it is NOT a simple fix when it has been crystallized to that extent. Hours of stirring the honey in a warm pot of water didn't even put a dent in it. But I have had a chance to try their Ollallieberry honey a long time ago from a friend and it is a delicious product. Though perhaps ordering online is not the best option if they are willing to send customers completely crystallized honey.

I got a jar full of crystals that I had to heat in order to use. I messaged the seller about it and got no reply. It's honey, but I'd rather buy it in liquid form.

This honey was delicious and a very unique variety.

Very high quality honey, no floral taste at all. Not piney like I was hoping, but still very good.
