A bitter-tasting powder with numerous supposed benefits
It says on the package of this item that arjuna "supports healthy cholesterol," but the copy on Amazon says it does much more. Here are some of the other supposed benefits of this fine light-brown powder: • Eases high blood pressure • Enhances energy levels • Protects the kidneys and liver • Increases oxygen flow to the heart • Reduces the chances of clot formationLike all supplements I take, there is no way I can verify this product does all it's supposed to. It's just too difficult to know for sure. I did a little online research about arjuna, and it does appear to be a naturally derived, healthy substance. One thing I can say for sure is that this powder is extremely bitter - make sure you mix it with a smoothie or something else before ingesting! I put in a heaping tablespoon of arjuna with a soy milk smoothie with fruit and ice, and I think the powder thickened it up and nicely offset the sweetness of the liquid. I guess this is one of those substances that is pretty good if it does even half of what it's supposed to.

Blends very well but super bitter!
I tried this in my smoothie a few times and it blends extremely well. It will definitely add some bitter to your smoothie, almost too bitter. It was hard to overpower. As someone else said, it would probably be better in capsule form. Maybe it's an acquired taste. The company has a good quality profile, though, so that's reassuring.5 stars for a great quality product at a good price. If you need or want this herb, this is a good brand to find unless you're seeking organic.

100 Pure Arjuna!!!
Stir in a teaspoon of Aruja in your morning Yogurt (I like it with Banana Cream, but any flavor works) and you will have a healthier heart and maintain a normal blood pressure!!! Excellent!!! Thank you!!!

Taste is Okay, a bit drying
The taste is so-so; the product has a very strong astringent / tannin effect in your mouth. I think this would be better put in capsules versus drinking as tea or adding to smoothie.

Good value
I've been using arjuna in capsules for years. It's one of those wonder plants that has positive effects on the cardiovascular system, or so everything I've read and seen says. This is a good deal on a lot of arjuna powder. It's really best used mixed into smoothies or such because it tastes vile and has a nasty powdery texture, as you'd expect of, well, a powder. I've mixed it into my smoothies and haven't tasted it, which is a good thing. My only confusion came from the directions, which suggest 3-5 grams a day. Uh, I live in America, which doesn't know from grams. So I had to look it up, and apparently 5 grams is about a teaspoon. (Unless they mean grams as a measure of weight, in which case I'm totally lost, not owning a scale that can weigh fractions of ounces.) Not to sound too provincial, but it would have been helpful if the directions had been translated into measures those of us in America can readily understand. We're getting used to kilos and liters and such, but don't encounter grams that much in everyday life.

Bitter, but Great Benefits
My mom had high blood pressure cholesterol, and I’m doing everything I can to fight against heredity and eat a healthy diet, which includes natural supplements. This powder is a great addition to my regimen, and I add it my green smoothie most mornings. It does add a bitter taste to my smoothie, so I make sure that I add another flavor to it that takes away the bitterness so that I can take advantage of the numerous health benefits that this powder provides

High Quality Arjuna Powder
Arjuna powder has so many health benefits that I can't even begin to type them all out. I suggest reading up on it to learn all of it's powerful medicinal uses. I will say that it seems to be especially good for the heart in many ways. Making a tea with cow's milk seems the be the most common way to consume Arjuna powder, but it is a process in itself. This Arjuna powder seems to be very good quality.

Useful herb
very tanic, bitter and a bit chalky as far as powders go. I have been using many herbs from this brand, and I am very happy with the quality, despite the fact that they are not labeled organic.
