These are great quality low dose vitamin D pills. They are kinda small so they are really easy to swallow. I bought these for the summer months when I don't need quite as much vitamin D, but they are also good to maintain proper vitamin D levels once my vitamin D level is normal. If my vitamin D gets too low, I need something stronger. When my vitamin D levels get too high from taking stronger pills, I can't sleep well and I get too manic, so I take these instead. This is a great product and a trusted company. I highly recommend these to maintain vitamin D levels and they work as they should if taken daily with a meal that has some fat in it (Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin). Also, they are not sticky and they don't smell. Excellent product!

These Now Vitamin D Chewable Mint vitamins are my favorites, and I think I have tried just about every chewable vitamin D I could get my hands on. Now Foods Vitamin D-3 5000 Iu Chewable, Mint, 120-Count I take these myself, and I am 45 years old. Having to take so many prescriptions and supplements on a daily basis has led me to replace any of them I can with chewable versions, for the sole purpose of reducing the number of pills I have to swallow on a daily basis.My Iron levels were dangerously low, so my Dr. suggested I increase mine by using an additional iron supplement, along with the multi-blend vitamin I was already taking. This was in January, and I have just had my levels re-tested for the first time since then, and am very happy with the results. My iron levels have returned to normal while taking just the once-daily dose.❇️ NOW FOODS also makes a BERRY FLAVORED 1000 lu CHEWABLE D3 AS WELL - I give this to my children, but they can also be taken by an adult who is not in need of the full 5000 lu D3 dose, but rather just needs to boost their iron a bit, .. I love the flavor of them, but taking 5 a day to get my 5000 lu isn't exactly cost-effective, so I take the mint. Dissolves quickly, value of money , quality, Stickiness, easy of swallow

I was looking for a chewable vegetarian higher-dose vitamin D, and this product fits the bill and does as advertised. But if it's trying to mimic an after-meal mint, the taste is way too chalky, and taking it before or during the meal throws off the taste of the food. At least it's effective enough for me to continue taking it, though I wish there were an unflavored option.

We have been buying this high potency chewable vitamin D from this company for years. Vitamin D is known to be one of the most valuable supplements for immune defense and to help the body to fight disease. It's also one of the nutrients many individuals don't get enough of, unless spending lots of time in the sun. I love that it's so very easy to take, and tastes great. The price is great and it really works well for both my husband and I.

Smallish pill for ease of swallowing if that is a concern for you.
