TEA ZONE1.32 lb Milk Tea Powder

Ok so there are no instructions to be found anywhere for this product. I started emailing, tagging them in social media, sending smoke signals and they finally got back to me but it was just a recipe. Highly disappointed in that aspect but taste wise it was great!

This has been my favorite Milk Tea for Boba! Had it from a boba shop back in my college days, they closed down after a while and I asked the owner what powder he used and sent me this link! Just as I remembered from my college days. Love it!

This tea is delicious! For those familiar with the Casa Kyoto milky flavor tea, this is very very similar to that. Everyone has their own preference for taste, but for the 1.32 lb bag of powder, I use about 1/4th cup of powder per 8 ounces of water. For me, that mixture tastes just right. This bag is a great value compared to the boxes with individual packets. Fast shipping and outstanding quality of tea!

I've been to several different boba places that have milk tea. This powder definitely has the flavor from a lot of them, however for my taste it is just a bit too much on the sweeter side. For me I would rather have a bit more tea flavor and a little less sugar. But do not let that veer you away from trying this powder, it is close to the flavor from a lot of milk teas I have tried before. :)

This milk tea powder is the closest to what you find in most boba shops. I ignore the recommended quantities and start with 1 - 2 tablespoons of the powder into an already brewed and cooled black tea base. Then, I mix the powder, tea base, and brown sugar in a magic bullet mixer so everything dissolves. I usually taste it and add milk tea powder or brown sugar as needed. For the tea base, you can use any black tea, but if you buy the tea zone black tea leaves, the result will be most consistent with what you get in boba shops. Overall, I love this product and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I know it won't beat store-bought boba tea, but I'm still disappointed. It tastes like sugary water.

Smaller than I expected, guess its my falt but usually bobba tea powder are sold in bigger bags

This is my favorite tea. It's very rich and better than any at the tea shops.
