I have a modest pen collection. I like holding a writing instrument in my hand and write on paper. I use fountain pens, rollerball pens, ballpoint pens, different kinds of pencils. I would write with charcoal if I had to. But this pen is definitely one of the best I own-- maybe the best. Time will tell. I will keep this updated.But this one is impressive and definitely worth the price. Since I have been using it I am amazed at how well it fits my hand. When I first saw it I had my doubts. The wood warms in your hand and it feels really good when writing. The word "balanced" fits the description. The ink cartridge is made in Germany and the ink goes on the paper with the smoothness of a rollerball but looks like ballpoint pen ink on the paper. The shape reminds me of a Parker ballpoint pen refill in shape.It came in a white cardboard box with the company name on the outside. The pen case is beautiful wood that was wrapped in light gray newspaper. The pen on the inside was wrapped in light brown newspaper so there was no rattling around. Since Amazon has gone to these plastic bubble wrap mailing bags (gee, I thought we were supposed to love the planet and not use plastic. Unless the cost cuts into the profit margin of course.) I was concerned about how the pen would come. No problems or worries. The care they take in not only how the pen is crafted but how it is also shipped is amazing.Not to mention that it is handmade from a small business in Texas. Made in America by Americans goes a long way with me. It is a bonus that Christians own the company and the pen gets a blessing put on it. I have felt it when writing. I am also a follower of Jesus and like to support brothers and sisters in the faith. This pen is definitely worth the money.

Bought this beautiful hand-made from wood pen for a special friend of ours. It's craftsmanship and uniqueness of wood surpassed my expectations and I was very impressed with it as I'm sure our friend will be also. I would definitely recommend this beautiful pen as a gift.

Not sure why it took me so long to getting around to posting a review for this. All I can say is it is probably one of the best pens I have owned. I have owned some that were more expensive, but few that felt as good.Great pen, and would buy again.

I like the weight and feel of it in my hand, it writes very smooth. The materials are top-notch and it’s beautifully made. It’s a tad bit shorter than I expected however I’m over that already. I will be buying the complete set.

Exceptionally well mad and comes with a handsome case. The case could use some padding because for a gift it rattles around in the box. My better half has a very good collection of quality pens and this is a worthy addition to hath collection.
