Skidbuster 5053 Men's Leather & Mesh Slip Resistant Athletic Shoe

I tried these after trying another pair of shoes. The fit of the shoe was ok. However they were torn in two spots on each shoe where the upper part comes together just below the second eyelet. Both shoes had this defect, one more than the other. If I had tried to wear them it would have only gotten worse and the shoes certainly wouldn't have lasted.returned them promptly while I still had the chance.

shoes were comfortable from the start! The slip resistance is very good! I like that they are higher on the ankle and give support to my ankle area and achilles tendon ! With plantar fasciitis, these help to make it more bearable!

Did not last as long as expected

This is a comfortable shoe that lives up to it's name. With it's slip resistant tread, and athletic shoe design, this shoe is perfect for those who work in slippery environments. I work in a correctional center, and my first night wearing these shoes, I had to deal with inmates flooding cells, and had to deal with wet slippery floors, and these shoes gripped the normally slippery wet floors like they were dry. Out of the box these shoes were a perfect fit. So when you order, use your normal shoe size. I like that these shoes come in wide sizes, so I didn't have to order shoes that were a size larger to make up for my wide feet.

Brought these only to discover they were very narrow and the size is misleading. I wear a size 12 and my toe was at the end.

The size is roughly a half size larger than what i normally wear. Although they are pretty comfortable, I can feel where the inside of the left shoe is put together when putting it on around the ankle. As far as the skid resistance, awesome. Im in food service delivery and so far these are holding up pretty well, I'll update once they're broken in.

Very comfortable. The shoe laces lasted for two weeks, then snapped. The front of the shoe where the toe flexes, the black pleather separated. I now have two rips on each shoe. I do about 5-8 miles a day walking, so they are put to the test.

These shoes might be ok for someone that does not work 8-13 hour shifts in a kitchen. They have no foot comfort at all. Had them for about a month and it's already showing spot coming apart.
