I love this powder as it is lightweight but covers any facial imperfections. I have very pale skin and like the SPF 50. I normally use sunscreen under the powder for extra protection so I can't speak to the sunscreen with just the powder. Because the powder comes in a number of different colors be sure to pick the one which matches your skin tone. I purchased my first powder at my dermatologist's office so I was able to test the different colors. I'm so happy that I did try the powder at the office or I definitely would have picked the wrong color. Marta adds a light tan tone to my face and covers any red spots. I have used more expensive products and they are not comparable to La Bella Donna.

This is a great product that I have been using for a long time. My local Aveda salon used to carry it but they changed to TEN and don't carry it anymore so now I have to order in online, but it usually ships fairly quickly. Nice and lightweight and covers nicely but is breathable.

If you have super sensitive skin, want a powder that finishes naturally and has an SPF, then this is your coconut and petroleum-product-free answer. This makeup doesn't clog pores even thought it is finely milled. I found this makeup when I had a mole removed and the dermatologist said this makeup would not harbor bacteria and would protect the scar from the sun. The only drawback of all mineral makeup is that it is not a friend to flash photography. BUT on the flip side, your skin will never look better in-person and on video. I have been using LaBella Donna loose mineral foundation for about 4 years now. Once I discovered it I never went back to anything else. This gives you great coverage without looking like you have any makeup on. It just makes your skin look healthy. Since it is mineral makeup it has a natural spf, and naturally anti-microbial (no bacteria). The great thing about this particular product is the more you apply the heavier the coverage. So if you need to cover a blemish, just get a smaller brush to keep layering. Otherwise, I just use a kabuki brush to lightly dust my face. I know it sounds a bit pricey for makeup but I promise it is worth every penny and will last about 4-6 months. I use about 2 of these per year. One for my winter color and one for my summer color.

I am fair with pink undertones and the color Nicolleta works great for me. This powder foundation is light, finely textured and provides more coverage than you would expect. Has never caused a problem with my sensitive skin.

I live in Hawaii and need sunscreen daily As i have had four basel cell cancers removed already. . I have mild rosacea and have not been able to find a cream sunscreen mineral or chemical that does not aggravate my skin. Most feel heavy and look terrible by the end of the day. A make up artist friend of mine recommended this and matched me to Catarina. Ive been using it a week now and have had no breakouts or skin irritation. It covers all my flaws fairly well. It feels like there’s nothing on your skin. I only worry about the SPF claims because I really need hi SPF coverage. There is no expiration date on the containers as most SPF products have so it is a concern. I do really like the coverage, the feel and look. It lasts all day and is easy to apply, I use a kabuki brush. I would recommend this product.

I know a product is truly working for me when I reorder ~ and this is my third! I discovered La Bella Donna at a spa where it was recommended after a facial. I like the subtle softening effect the powder has after I lightly dust it over my face and throat after moisturizing; however, it also serves as a concealer when applied with a small brush prior dusting. The color stays true regardless of how hot the weather is, and I like the extra SPF. My sensitive skin has seen many summers and this product protects with a soft finished-looking effect. I love it!

I ordered this because I will be getting married on the beach in St. Lucia and the makeup artists at the resort would be using this exact cosmetic to apply my makeup. As I suspected, I had a severe allergic reaction just like I did with Bare Minerals makeup. The ingredient contained in this and in BM is called bismuth oxychloride which causes my skin to burn and eventually become very itchy. The finish looked great but I can't be itching my face during the wedding ceremony so I sent this back.
