Crayon Shinchan Volume 2 Paperback – October 15, 2012

Im a fan of shinchan comics, they are way funnier than the show. But its true that there are several pages in the "high-leg-cut-bikini aliens" chapter with really illegible speech bubbles, it looks like the text ran too light in the printing. I think the book is still worth it, but that is annoying. The "transvestite sales-woman" makes another, albeit brief, appearance in this comic. I could do without the trans misogyny.

Shinchan always gives me laughs and I love the series, but the problem is that the printing is really bad. Now I know I didn't review volume 1 because the print and pictures were still somewhat legible, but in volume 2 there are about 5-10 pages in which the dialogue bubbles are completely blank. I don't even know what happens in that part of the story now. I am not sure if this is just a bad printing on my book only, but if this continues on, I might not buy the rest of the series. I also want to note that there are no page numbers. I don't think it is that difficult to print page numbers. Overall, I am not very happy with this publishing company and if I had the chance, I would buy the older versions in English instead.

Good translation, pages weren't flipped (yay!) and it looked brand new even though it was used. I used to read online fan translations (I know, I know), but this was definitely worth getting a hard copy of. Shin is absolutely hilarious, so be prepared to laugh out loud.

This manga is great. There are many different situations in this, which I like. There are even a few pages in color, which is uncommon for manga! It has fantastic characters (mostly Shin and Mitzi) but the humor you get from them is some of the best you'll get from any manga. My only complaint is that the books are short. I don't want them to end! If you've seen the show, you'll love this just as much.This one has a lot of swimming in it. You can get lots of humor from that topic. Shin Chan delivers.Buy all 10!

I love Shin chan, the anime. The manga is great. I read these over and over because the humor is so great and witty. It gets better the more you read it, and it's fantastic to start with. I highly recommend these books.5/5 Stars.

More of the same from volume one but it's still good! in fact if I had one complaint is that volume one ended too quickly which is my same complaint about volume two.

After reading the first volume it come to no surprise that the second volume is just as good. The volume still consists of three page comics with a book of roughly over 100 different mini comics and still doesn't seem repetitive. It's still just as funny as it ever was.Shin always seems to get himself in hilarious situations leaving most adults around him frustrated or down right pissed at him. It is one of the few book that actually had me laughing out loud. For first time readers don't be fooled buy the artwork, this book is full of jokes and puns that adults will find hilarious that might go over kids heads.I will definitively be buying the next volume and in japan Crayon shin Chan is a 50 volume series so I hope to see this publisher continues with translation for the complete series.

Auch mit band 2 der 3-1 version (also band 4-6) lässt SHin chan keinesfals nach. Der zweite band ist genauso lustig wie der erste. Was es jedoch noch anzumerken gilt ist das es in der Mitte eine längere Geschichte gibt was recht ungewohnt ist. DIeses Kapitel erreicht auch nicht den standart der vorherigen oder weiteren. Trotzdem tut dies dem Manga keinen abbruch.
