My dogs will love this! This has been their favorite toy. In the past I bought them this same toy only in the smaller sizes. It is their favorite toy. To get them interested, I first stuffed the squirrels in (I bought an extra pack of squirrels to make it harder) and then put little pieces of dog food or treats in among the squirrels. They can hardly contain their excitement when I do this. Then they stick their noses in and try to pull the squirrels out and find the treats. In the end, they sometimes just stick their heads in the stump and try to chew on the bottom which is hilarious. Then they carry the squirrels around the house and chew on them in their spare time. They squeak so a good game of "fetch" is something they also love. Some say their dogs chewed them apart, but my dogs haven't totally destroyed any of them yet and I have had them for over a year. My dogs would be considered medium chewers. An ear or two are missing here and there, but still lots of play left.However when I ordered this I didn't realize how big it is! It is huge.Much larger than the other ones I bought, although the squirrels themselves are the smaller size. The stump is just giant. I was going to bring it out at Christmas already stuffed with squirrels and treats. I guess all three can take an opening and start pulling! I know they will love it! Anyway, do check the size for yourself and otherwise, your dogs will love it. Well made, by the way.

My German Shepard puppy is so smart I have been trying to get him more puzzle toys to keep him busy. This was way to easy for him to figure out, he pulled them out right away, the hole needs to be a lot tighter for them to take a while to get out. He tore up the tree part right after he got out the squirrels he did play with the squirrels off and on through the week but they got torn open fast

I saw the Hide-A-Squirrel when I was shopping on Amazon for a gift for my Chihuahua for Christmas when I came across this toy and since my dog loves toys that squeak I thought that she might really enjoy this so I purchased it. This was a good decision on my part because my dog really likes to play with this toy. She likes to stick her head inside of the plush tree stump and pull the squirrels out by herself. She also likes to toss the squirrels up in the air and try to catch them but she hasn't mastered this skill yet. It is a lot of fun watching her play with this toy. She usually likes to tear the squeakers out of her toys but so far she hasn't managed to do that with the squeaky squirrels. The Hide-A-Squirrels come in different sizes and lots of squirrels. The Anniversary model comes with ten squirrels and you can even purchase replacement squirrels if you need to.

My dog loved finding treats in this toy, shoving his big black lab head all the way down into the tree trunk while pulling out the squeaky squirrels! Strange 2012 logo in the side but didn’t affect the enjoyment of the toy for my pup!

Awesome toy. First one, since puppyhood, that has captured her interest, for long.I am working at removing cardboard from base of tree trunk, so as to be able to wash and dry.Washed all by hand, including the 10 squirrels, and put in dryer.I was careful to hold on to area where squeaker is, so as to not water log, but had to find a way to wash, as dog loves it so much, the toy gets wet, from her mouth then drys, over and again.The pieces are still intact and fluffy and it's just an awesome toy.The tree trunk part can go in washer and dryer. The card board piece at bottom, not really needed as it stands up great without it.It is sewn in so I just need to make small opening, take it out and sew it back together. Depending on where it won't even be noticeable.

My dog absolutely loves this jumbo sized squirrel tree!! We had one of the smaller ones for him since he was a puppy and have just fixed/replaced the squirrels over time. I was so excited when I came across this very large version of his favorite toy as my dog is a small 13lb terrier mix, and this toy is easily twice his size. He loves how big it is though and the challenge it poses for him. The jumbo sized squirrels are also a lot of fun for him. I highly recommend this to any dog owner who wants to treat their dog, and also doesn't mind squeak toys as every squirrel has a squeaker in it.

I don't know how long my destructive little beast will let this thing survive, but he loves it! So add up 5 stars for every day it keeps him from chewing the baseboards, carpet, and cabinet doors! Each squirrel squeaks (at least until he rips the heart out). He is delighted when I put my hand into a side slot to squeak a squirrel on the bottom; he pokes his head in the top and digs 'em all out until he reaches the offending squirrel. I don't know about my little fur-ball, but this toy is keeping me busy!

My husky loves this toy. At first he didn't know what to do, but after a day I came home to find all the tiny squirrels all over the floor. He loves chewing on the squirrels.
