She is 22 months and both my husband and I are avid skiers - so we wanted to get her comfortable on skis ASAP so we can get her
My daughter loves these skis! She is 22 months and both my husband and I are avid skiers - so we wanted to get her comfortable on skis ASAP so we can get her on the real mountains when she is ready. These are great for little ones to get a feel for having 2 sticks strapped to their feet. We just went to our local park and pulled her along the pathway and she seemed to pick it up pretty quickly. These will be great for the next year of learning before hitting the real slopes.

Great ski's to get used to sliding and have some winter fun
Our 2.5 year old got these as a christmas present and we were able to test them a few times this winter. We did purchase a cord at home depot to loop in the front to pull her and otherwise hold her by the hand or push her from the back to slide. Slipping in with regular winter boots works great and the ski's adhere well when she does her walking/sliding. We haven't taken her on actual slopes yet but she already enjoyed them on flat surfaces and also with a minimal incline. I think these will easily work for another winter or 2 and then for the next child. The material is sturdy and well made. When we had other kids over they also thoroughly enjoyed 'skiing' in the garden. The colors are just as nice and bright as displayed. The poles are nice accessories. A bit overwhelming for a 2 year old, coordination-wise, but I'm still happy we got a set with poles as it did give her some reassurance when she first stood in the ski's and didn't really know what to expect.

perfect for learning
OMG I love these skis. I bought these for my grandson when he was only 14 months old. We took him to a dude ranch and he had so much fun on his skis for the first time. He looked like a pro with the helmet and goggles that we got him from here. These skis are perfect for a small child to learn with

Great for my 2.5 year old's first time on skis
These are perfect for an agile toddler. They are not anything fancy and for sure are just "trainer" skis, but for sliding around and getting the hang of being on skis, these are great! She is just wearing her Kamik snow boots with them and has mostly just been on flat terrain with them.

Glad to see the binding is adjustable for fitting of snow boots so should last up to 3 seasons before hopefully moving on to proper skis. Sound looking screw fittings for binding adjustment.

Not recommended
Best to go for proper skis for training. Doesnt have any good support. Met others that made the same mistake

Great skis but don’t need ski polls at this young age.
These are a great starter ski. Real ski boots are hard for kids to use. This lets kids get accustomed to the whole ski, outdoors, winter, being wrapped in layers without the added awkwardness of the ski boots. It is already a lot for most kids to handle. My daughter is only 19 months so I only used them on the flats. But I am sure by next year she will be doing some small inclines. Not too sure why they provide the poles. Usually we don’t start teaching kids to ski with poles until much much later when they are already using proper downhill skis. Maybe it is good for cross country skiing but I can’t say anything about that as I don’t do it and didn’t give the poles to my daughter to use. This was the only set that was going to arrive on time. The other sets are cheaper and don’t come with pools. I feel like this product is unnecessarily upcharging because of the poles which are never going to be used in my case. Happy skiing.
