Sleek, modern floating picture frame
Since there were a lot of complaints about removing the film, I was hesitant to buy but believed I could work it out. Yes, success, and I like the frame. I've attached a progression of photos to show how to remove the protective film. Do not go about this hastily. Do not try to rip it off. Do not try a razor blade. Take your time. Start at the corners. I used my thumbnail. Then proceed to push up the film with a finger or thumbnail along one long edge of the acrylic. You want to be able to peel and roll the entire sheet down a little at a time and slowly. Just lift with thumbnail, pull, and roll a little at a time proceeding down the acrylic frame. I didn't try, but I'm wondering if BRIEFLY using a hairdryer to loosen the film at a corner would help. This might be a fire hazard so do it only briefly to see if a corner comes up more easily.

Good luck removing adhesive covering
Nice frame, only fault with it is that it was a real pain in the butt to remove the adhesive covering off both sides of the frame. Took 45 minutes to remove, and I didn't get it all off, just enough so that it couldn't be seen on the front side and on the edges around the photo. I just used my fingernail to remove it. It said to use a sharp object (i.e., knife) to remove, but I was afraid I would make scratches so I did it the slow way.

Protective film is paper not plastic - VERY difficult to remove
There are 2 sheets of acrylic and each one has a paper protective film to protect the plastic from scratches. You have to remove 4 sheets of this film before you can put your picture in between the 2 plastics. Instructions say to "use a sharp object to make a small cut in the film and use the resulting gap to hook up the film with the blade."As soon as I started to peel the paper it tore. It won't come up in one piece and keeps on tearing. Had to keep on using knife to pry up the parer left behind. Too much effort involved. I gave up and returned it.

Great frame. Pain in the butt protective film
I used it to preserve a letter for my nephew after his father passed away suddenly. Looks great and easy to assemble. However the brown protective film was a HUGE pain to remove. It was more paper like and not clear and plastic like pictured. I slightly scratched the frame trying to get it off but wasn't terribly noticeable and didn't ruin the integrity of the frame-Somebody else might not be so fortunate.

Useless because of NASA strength glue...
...spent 2 days trying to get the paper attached to protect from scratches off...must use the strongest glue ever, nothing worked. They are recyclable though which is where they are now, in our garbage recycle bin. Threw them out, went to Hobby Lobby, bought the same thing, NOT SUPER GLUED, were a buck less and look nice, with EASY installation. Complete pain in the arse.

Perfect for pictures and thin memorabilia!
The size of the glass and lack of pressure can make it difficult to mount things that aren’t as then as a picture. I used this to display several items from a sporting event I wanted to remember and did the job as expected. The glass is very clear and comes with protective film on both sides of each piece. The long metal stands are good and do the job of letting it free stand. The only thing that could make this better is a way to tighten the stands down tighter with maybe a notch or phillips end on the backside.

Returned....
As much as I wanted this to work for our homeschool life, unfortunately I will be returning..1. The standing legs or peg had bad thread and would not tighten up. It would not stand up without some other support.2. Took forever to get the protective film off. So to save time before buying grow some fingernails.

Disappointed, but didn't have to be!
I ordered a 3 pk of these picture frames. The acrylic was high quality, well protected and unscratched. However, I only received the hardware to assemble one of the 3 frames. Unfortunately, I needed one of the frames THAT day for a time sensitive event. When I contacted Amazon and asked if I could just get the missing 2 hardware packs sent, I was told that I had to return all 3 frames in order to do anything about it. As such, I was forced to keep the 3 pack even though I was only able to use 1 of the 3 frames. Again, I was happy with the one working frame that I received, just disappointed that the other 2 amounted to little more than a paperweight.
