Lovely book!
It is true, compared to some other paper doll books, the colors are slightly pale, but this is not a printing error: the author used coloured pencils to create her doll and costumes, as she did in her other books. The clothes are beautifully represented. If you love clothes from the late fifties/early sixties, you will definitely love this book.I gave the book four stars, though, because the paper the costumes are printed on is rather thin for a cut out book (it feels like 100grs copying paper - for all you non-European readers: 80grs is the weight of standard copying paper), AND advertisements for het other books are printed on the reverse side of the pages, so they will shine through a bit, which IS really annoying. The doll itself and her most glamorous costumes are printed on the front and back cover, so they are of better quality. All in all, I am happy with the book, but it could have been better.

Lovely artwork
The colors were very pale in the book, but the art was truly first rate. There were only 3 sheets inside, with 3 costumes per sheet. The back and front covers have clothes and, in fact, have better color on the shiny paper. I'm glad to have the book, but I wish the colors weren't so washed out.

not that great
I agree the colors are very washed out. It's an interesting enough collection but not for the price. I doubt if I will buy more from this author.

Old Fashioned Fun
A nice addition for paper doll collector or fun for cut and play.
