QT Dog Flat Sided Stainless Steel Bucket with Hooks, 1 Quart

The 2 hooks are NOT rounded anymore. They have a more square ish appearance.Also...There was NO X-tra rivets in the handle last time...NOW there is....Don't want/need the rivetsWould rather it be completely smooth on the inside.I wanted this as an X-tra Backup small bucket feeder for my dwarf goats, as i am always setting the original one down everywhere and sometimes it gets "lost".The original one i purchased in 2017 or 16 is STILL going strong.No weak parts and NO rust !!!I put it in the TOP part of the dishwasher ever since i got it ...Don't know IF that will all change by year 5...but i highly recommend the OLD version of this.I canNOT speak for the one they are sending out Now - because i am returning it!!

I LOVED the first two I purchased so much that I bought a third. But the placement of the clips that hold the bucket onto the crate are different on all three. One fits any crate perfectly. One fits most but it's a bit of a tight squeeze. The third one doesn't fit any size dog crate. This bucket isn't good if you can't hang it on a crate. I am so disappointed! This could be such a great product but unfortunately the company needs some quality control

Arrived brandnew with rust spots. I have used similar products from a different brand Ray Allen with 100% no rusting even after years of daily use. My 8 week old doodle puppy was able to spill the water so while the hooks may help hold it in place a hook is still needed to ensure the product stays in place. My hook actually arrives tomorrow but I'm returning this pail. It's to bad because it is difficult to find a 1qt.

I purchased two of these buckets for a new puppy's crate. They hook on the metal crate easily and don't move around. So despite an active puppy there aren't any spills. These are small so they are good for a puppy or a toy size dog. When my pup gets bigger I am going to have to buy the larger 2 Quart pails. They are really well made and easy to clean too! After a few weeks and the water pail being full all the time, I don't see any signs of wear. Totally worth the price. I felt this was a great deal.

I give it 2/5.1) Look at my photo, you will see that the bucket is round with what amounts to dent on one side!2) The photo on Amazon doesn't show rivets, it shows spot welds. The bucket I was shipped has big ugly rivets and one inside the bucket is sharp enough to cut a dogs nose.3) The double hangers on back (held on by sharp rivets) don't fit on any of my crate bars they are too close together, so you can only use one hook at a time. FYI my crate bars measure 1 1/4 inch spacing.I can't believe I paid $18+ and waited several days for this low tech piece of junk!

This is not well made. Would be good as a food bowl but water errods where the hanging device is secured. Had to culk it to stop the errosion. Other than that, stays on well and works as advertised

angle of the double hook will not work in crates if the crate was curved then it might work . so stick with one with single hock flat stainless steel bucket for crates .

We use this when we take our dogs to shows. It allows them easy access to water. The two hooks keep it steady in the kennel. It's easy to clean and is light weight.

I like that it has the flat side for hanging from my dog crate.My dog is large and the 1l bucket is perfect. I didn't want a large one as he only spends a couple of hours a day in it and doesn't need too much water when he is in his crate.The hooks sit on the crate wire which is convenient but I also use a clip to prevent it from being knocked off and spilling the water. I have had it for a few weeks and I don't see any rust. It is still in good condition.

I've had it for most of a year now and it is rusting through. I don't understand why you can't buy a decent quality stainless steel bucket these days, but, apparently you can't, or at least this ain't it. Probably ok for very occasional use (at dog shows, or whatever) but not if you're going to have water in it most of the time.

Be sure to check the rivets for the handle inside the bucket - I had to sand 2 of them down as there were sharp ends to the metal that could have scratched/cut dog noses.

too small - my fault; 2 of the tabs on one bucket welded too close to fit between typical crate door - needed to pry apart to fit.
