Indian Delights Hardcover – December 1, 1993

I had this copy before but lost it. I ordered another one but it was a different version which was not like the older version I had. But now I’m so happy that I finally found a copy of the original Indian Delights recipe book! It’s a bit pricey but it’s one of the best and the recipes are amazing!

I grew up in Zimbabwe and when we were shifting I had mislpaced this book and my mom was very upset, then after searching for a long time I had seen it on Amazon.com. So I decided to get and suprise my mom! I would also like to thank my boss since I was in a different country so he bought it for me.My mom was so HAPPY to see it back again. I’d been in the hunt for this for years! So glad to have found it. So many different recipes and although the ‘good wife’ information is a bit outdated - it provides a bit of a laugh if you understand the culture for which it was originally created. Love it

This book is full of wonderful information above and beyond the recipes. A true treasure.

I love this recipe book! a nice blend of traditional with some definite local south african influences. Not all recipes have english subtitles which can make it a little more challenging to quickly find a recipe. but overall it is wonderful!

I loved my copy of this book, unfortunately i loaned it to a friend years ago and never saw it again. So glad to have found another one and can't wait for it to arrive!

This is a great recipe book. My family has had it for over 20 yrs (we got the first edition from South Africa). We had to order another book for my sister. Very well written and comprehensive book of South Asian cuisine.

I haven't tried any of the recipes but a friend of mine loves it.

This book of recipes is a must have. It literally guides you through wonderful tasting meals and allows to make families gasp with pleasure at your cooking.I use this book every single day and have tried many many recipes which have been fab. The savouries section is a must for the month of ramadhan.I cannot do without this book which is the reason why I bought it after seeing it at my mums house and how it became such a necessity and a godsend in my own home too.

I have alot of Asian/Indian recipe books. This is the best one I ever had. Its like none of the books I have purchased in the uk. They have so many more recipes and different to those seen in other cook books. The recipes are very simple to follow. Im not Asian and I find the recipes easy. I showed an Asian lady the book and she borrowed it to copy recipes. I had a difficult time getting the book back from her....An excellant recipe book

This is an amazing cook book. The photos / images in the book are limited, but the quality and amount of recipes this book has makes it all okay. All recipes are clear and easy to follow.The book is hardcover and very sturdy with a silk book marker. It's not just the food that is a delight, but the book itself is too. Many friends have seen the book and asked where they could buy it.
