Definitely a Sub/Dom book!
This book filled in all the Sub/Dom action that the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" series was missing! I don't like Opal's writing-style-- it's very childish at times, and she repeats character-thoughts over and over and over again until you just want them to get over it already and move on! But I bought this book for the Sub/Dom scenes, and in that aspect I wasn't disappointed!

I wanted to like this book, but.....
I had read a part of the first section of this book online and was intrigued with the story. Eventhough the whole dominant - powerful businessman line has been very popular and done quite a number of times, I thought that this story would be more mature and emotionally deep. But unfortunately I was wrong.Eventhough Kate seems to be a mature woman who is smart and savvy, she is incredibly immature and insecure.--SPOILER ALERT--We are led to believe that Kate's reasons for running away from Matt are legitamate and just. However, the incident which has led them apart is a series of misunderstandings and miscommunication. As for Matt, he can hardly be called a bona fide Dom. I've read many BDSM books and can safely say that a flogger and dungeon do not make a Dom. He attempts to "punish" Kate a couple of times for her mistakes but never seems to see it through. Again, as with Kate, we are led to believe or rather hope that Matt harbors a deep, dark secret that is keeping him from having a serious relationship with Kate. Yet again we are disappointed with what ends up being a flimsy excuse.Yes, there are many sex scenes, but after a certain point it began to get weary and repetitive.I'm sorry to say that the book left me sorely dissatisfied. I wish that the story had started with how they met and then continued from there. This was the first Opal Carew book that I read, but I want to give her another try as I have read many great reviews of her books.

Steamy!
I gave this book five stars. It is always a great story when things work out in the end. Kate and Matt had a whirl wind story. Will read this book again for steamy pleasures.
