Worth buying, works better than one would expect
I've had my purchasing eye on solar outdoor lights for a while, but never wanted to pull the trigger because I expected them to be super-cheaply made, generally dim, cheap looking, and generally not what I wanted in my well-maintained yard on display. When these lights popped up as an Amazon deal for $35 (I believe they're more now) I figured it'd be worth a try. I'm glad I did try. Although the lights are pretty cheap, they also generally work well. They feel cheap once in the hand (very, very light, not metal), but they are very low profile so as to "hide" in beds and they put out a decent amount of light. They don't work like a spotlight, but are nice ambient light that will give some depth to a yard and beds and will light up a tree's trunk or the lower few feet of your house. Some lights didn't work too well right out of the box and some others sort of stopped working great after a while outside. But, the price is right and you can just keep replacing the ones that sort of die-out with new ones until you've covered everywhere you want in your yard with well-working lights. I recommend at least trying them out.

Good For Some Applications, Just Give It Some Thought To Make Sure It's Your Style Of Lighting
I hadn't seen this style of light before and bought a set to figure out what works and what doesn't. Specifically, I tried them as deck lights, stairway lights, walkway lights, and landscaping lights (for foliage). The verdict:As deck lights, another review had a really cool picture of these on his deck. I tried this tactic and was a bit disappointed. They look like decent accent lights from a distance but give off little to no surrounding light - and yet can blind you if you're standing near one and make the mistake of looking down.As stair lights, it's the same. They light up very little surface area and can blind you walking up/down the stairs. It's just not practical compared to dome lights, etc.As walkway lights, these can set a nice boundary of where you should be walking if you don't mind the runway look. Without giving off light to the surrounding ground though, they again seemed impractical. As landscaping lights, I was surprised when I threw four down at the base of a tree. Four lights working together are strong enough to illuminate the trunk on all sides - plus since I think the lights themselves look better from a distance, it's a win-win. The only downside is they usually only go about 4-6 hours after it's pitch black because they're in partial shade.

10/10 would buy more. These are so cool
Out of the box these worked great. They were already charged and ready to go. Photos were taken an hour after sunset, with only a few hours of sunlight before that. The obvious thing I found was if you aren't getting much sun, you wont light up a darker area in the night, either. This goes without saying for a solar product (at least untill technology takes a leap), you need SUN to charge it.In the back, it sits under the shade of a developed walnut tree. In the front and side it gets plenty of sun and is great at night. On the first day, the lights were still going strong after 5 hours. I can't say how long it kept going past that - I went to sleep. The lights in back after a few days, now last more like 3 hours. Clearly they dont get enough light.I'm happy with these lights and I'm in progress in getting more! Even dim, the lights in the back help mark out the path. I recommend these to anyone looking to light their outdoor spaces, and want to be battery and wire free.

Adored the possibility of these ground lights to lit from floor !!
This item works extraordinary and more than that glances inconceivable in the open air when it shines. We cherished it to such an extent. This one arrived in an extremely fundamental box. Set of 12 warm 8-led warm light hues. Gleams with magnificently enough brilliance and keep going long enough after the entire day charge. It continued sparkling until 12:30 am until we rested. Not certain to what extent increasingly after that.My input underneath :Pros:- Great battery life- Incredibly bright- Small in size and super easy to install- Gives a great look to front yard and backyardCons:- Little costly but it’s a great investment for outdoor decor- The pointed tip is plastic and not extremely solid. It twists in the event that you attempt to push on a stone or rock covered up in mud. So take care appropriately.

Nice lights, tips for installing
The disc lights are slightly larger than I imagined (didn’t really read description on size). They were very well-packaged, having tape over the solar panel, bubble wrap around each or at least every other light, and small pieces of cardboard to ensure they did not slip around. Two out of 12 were already switched to on, and when placing my hand over, lit up. I tried one outside just to see how it looked for now. You want to make sure your ground is damp and level to put the light in. It is a bit hard to push into dry dirt. Once I placed in damp soil, I accidentally caught a piece of mulch, so it was not level (seen in picture). Try to get placement the way you want before installing these, and make sure the switch is set to on; they are a little tricky to move once they are set. I had to dig soil around the light carefully to get the stake piece from the ground. The true test will be seeing how my dogs do with these, as they run over almost any other type of solar light in the ground, but for now I am pleased very pleased!
